please tell me you saw this game. Like game 1, it seemed like the teams were evenly matched. And like last time , the Hawks score first . but I wasn't worried, a second for me. the wings tie it up and then take the lead. The Hawks come back and make it 2-2. And off to O.T.And like game one Ozzy kept us in the game in the first.I have a soon to be ex friend who says he doesn't like Canadian hockey players. With Ozzy playing his A$4 off all I have to say is Oh Canada. this game was smooth , flowing action. Just the way The Wings like to play. For the people who think hockey is just fighting should be forced to see a tape of this game, There were hits but no dirty stuff. The question is what type of game will be played in Chicago?

The Blackhawks will make game 3 a dirty affair, I have no doubt. Behind the crowd, Burrish is going to be unleashed as the Hawks look to take control anyway they can. They're in a huge hole and they know it. Desperate teams do desperate things. This original 6 is about to get nasty.
As for tonight's game. There wasn't a whole lot to it for me. Like you said Chicago scored and you weren't worried. Chicago tied it up, and you weren't worried. Because Detroit was able to dictate the pace of the game. They controlled the puck flow. This is the game they play. It's a slow, methodical, disection of the opposition. They don't come off as overpowering or dominating but because of that poise and control they eventually bleed you out.
A few give aways resulted in, ultimately, the tying goal and Chicago had their chances but this is what Detroit does. They'll give you a chance or two but they will make you play their game and nobody plays that game better than Detroit does. Chicago can't beat Detroit like this. They need to quicken the pace, use their speed, create chances off the rush and get dirty.

I am bias so it was beautiful game to me. But if you want more checking and more D , it wasn't too good.but I liked it.Were The Hawks intimated or did The Wings just take all their energy and squashed it?

Oh so it is men playing boys . Or at least newbies vs pros.Is this slowdown the wings version of the Devils' trap, remember that?

They just slow down the game. They neautralize any and all of the Hawks energy by slowing the game down. It takes the Hawks out of their comfort zone and right into that slow disection that Detroit executes so well. The Hawks are just too young and inexperienced to know when and how to fight back/counter yet.

Id have to say that the biggest thing i saw in this game was how the Wings punished Chicago for their mistakes, and chicago never really made the Wings pay for theirs. The Wings are teaching these kids from chicago what it really takes to be a Champion, and i really think Chicago is learning everything they can, which is why I dont think they are going to make it a dirty affair on friday night. These teams have so much respect for each other, and for the game, that they will not go out and try to hurt the other team, its not what champions do. But more about this game, I was honestly not worried about losing at any point in the game. Again the Hawks get one goal on a fluke play, then they tie it up in the 3rd, only to lose to the better team. The Wings have not played their best, and their Best players surely havent played their best.
The thing that has to be most dis-heartening for Chicago is the fact that Datsuyk, Holmstrom and Hossa havent even scored yet. (also add in Zetterburg because his goal was an empty netter). Now im not saying that this funk isnt going to continue for those guys, but its still got to be heard to be an upstart team and be down 2-0 in a series, where the other teams top players arent producing.
I think the Hawks come out and win Friday, and then lose the next 2. Wings against Pens in the Finals! GO WINGS!
