My name is Earl canceled!

I am so upset about this. I love My Name is Earl and don't want it to be cancelled. I believe Medium was another victim of Leno's new show but thankfully was picked up by CBS and will air after Ghost Whisperer so I am crossing my fingers that Fox picks it up. Its a great show to me because it revolves around a group of people who are really really poor yet funny. I hate these shows revolving the rich.

The longer a show lasts the more expensive it becomes to produce. A lot of that added production cost is the bump in the actors' salaries. If a network doesn't want to pay the increased costs then they drop the show. I don't know if that's the case with Earl but I wouldn't be surprised. And don't forget that NBC is moving Jay Leno to the 10 P.M. slot which will cut out 5 hours of programming every week. So perhaps Earl was one of the victims of Leno's new show.

ABC is far worse, but I also thought Earl was doing well - I know it was at one point. It even went into syndication; some cable channel was showing it during the day at one point. I also heard it might be moving to another network, but nothing else has been said yet.

Wow im surperised this seemed like a good show and is even on tbs so you think a lot of people would watch it. I have never seen an episode but do want to start watching the show but sucks it got canceld now. What do you expect seems like stations always cancel good shows and replace them with crappy shows at least thats what it seems like.

i hear you! i never watched My Name is Earl, but i hate when shows that i have been watching and love get cancelled! i get so mad! i don't know if you have heard of or remember them, but my two favorites were i believe on abc- Big Shots and What About Brian. Both cancelled. :( and more recently, i was watching Privileged on the CW- it was on right before the new 90210. yep, cancelled. how frustrating! it almost makes you not want to watch any new shows that come out because then if they get cancelled you are just so disappointed. :(
