Cindy!
It is difficult to assess oneself, yet I feel that I can control my temper, when there are difficult situations. It is very easy to lose one's temer and I know it very well that its after-effects could be disasterous, therefore, I refrain from getting angry. I am not a Saint, I am an average human being, therefore, despite my best efforts, sometimes I also lose my temper, when kids do silly things. To aovid bitter situations, I leave the scene for few minutes, when I see that I am going to lose my temper.

Yes, we should not create a scene for a longer duration, then it start hurting others.

I believe I'm a very easy person to get along with. I don't usually have a bad temper at all. It takes alot for me to get mad. However, if I see something being done unjusticely then I will go crazy. Otherwise I'm considered the lamb of the family.

well seemingly I do have a good temper and I never tried to yell at others and always get my emotions under control when i'm in public but actually I find out that sometimes being too nice towards others means I get all the unhappy things internalized and it's gonna be hard to just let go of them. Sometimes I envy those guys who burst out in angry but forget everything the next day.

Yeah I think I have a good temper since I rarely get mad and dont yell a lot for the most part. But I would say I have a good temper unlike my sister who she gets annoyed a lot and starts yelling wich I think she is just a rude person wich I dont even do anything wrong and I dont get why she is mean to me a lot of times.

I was always praised in my office for being coolheaded. I would say to myself "Really?" Maybe it is true. I always think before reacting to something. I process things on my mind before giving any reaction and I was used to be calm. I just know when my temper is elevating and I can control. A short prayer to God helps.
Here's a tip: Before reacting, I always think that being mad cannot help most of the time regarding the current situation. Being calm helps you think clearer and make you solve a problem instead.

My temper can be good and it can be bad depending on the situation. The only stipulation I place on my temper is I don't let it get the better of me. I'm in charge not my temper.

Hi,
Both yes and no. I am too fine with fine people and too bad with bad people. for you can never correct some people with temp[er and manner. They deserve some bully and battery and only learn. I never mind bullying people where it should be applied.

I don't have such a great temper, although, it has gotten better through the years. I have never really been hurt by someones temper, but damn scared! I am a peaceful person and it takes a lot to get me very upset. I have gained patience and understanding with age and for this, I am grateful :)

i think i do have a very good temper, seldom do i lost my temper in dealing with unreasonable people.
i always keep my cool,
all i do is just listen to their rantings...with a smile on my face...thinking within myself - "my look at you, having to spend so much energy for something not worthwhile.."
yes, sometimes i'm hurt - but i dont let it dictate my disposition - i still continue to do what i need to do..
because i always told myself at the end of the day - the only thing that matters is "whether i make a difference today? or had i been a channel of blessings?"
if not, then my day is not spent well...
take control of your temper - have you tried not talking any bad words to anybody for a day - not a single word...if you do then you have the ability to control your temper too...
and hey! the best thing is ... look for something that is good, nice and praiseworthy around you....then make a compliment to your neighbors, friends - see what happen next..
you'll never have to worry about temper anymore..
and even if its very hard - try to say something good all the time - no"ifs" even if the person is sooo unreasonable - continue to give praise..if you can't find it - look for it
its an art actually...

I've usually got a pretty good temper. I'm pretty laid back and easy going and don't start or get involved in troubles or conflicts until I need to. Basically, if you ever see me mad, beware. It's always the people with the normally even temper that get the maddest when they finally do lose their temper (or that's how it is in my family at least). It takes a lot to make me lose my temper, but once it's gone, it's gone for a while.
When I do start to feel like I'm losing my temper, I tend to walk away from the situation. Most times it's nothing that's worth losing my temper over anyway so I don't mind walking away. It's an easy way to diffuse a tense situation and we can both go to our corners until we calm down a bit.
