Hi there guys, First of all, I'd like to say congratulations to Kris Allen for winning the American Idol's title for season 8. I think that he deserves to win. But overall, both Allen and Lambert brought out a great and powerful vocal performance in the finale's show. But do you agree with what America's have voted? Voice out your opinion here!

I actually voted for Kris Allen to win, so yes, I am thrilled with the results. I loved the finale. I thought that all of the performers were wonderful. My favorite part was when Kris and Adam sang "We Are The Champions"~ is was very appropriate.

Personally I was quite Happy to see that Kris won. Overall I was always quite impressed with his Music, and was actually rooting for him to win. I think Adam will still be able to do quite well, so it did not effect him. Just wondering how Big Kris will now become once his CD is released?

Let me start by saying that Kris is talented but Adam so deserved this win. I don't know what happened with the votes, but I believe that people definitely got this wrong. I am sure that Adam will have an album out soon and that it will sell more than Kris. I think that Kris is too laid back for a strong career and I can see him being one that someone in the industry takes advantage of. Adam seems confident and ready for the chance to shine.

Extremely happy that Kris won! I believe the voters definitely got it right. I spend a lot more time "listening" to music rather than going to live performances and watching music videos. Therefore, Kris Allen has a voice and style, which is more enjoyable to "listen" to ... on a daily basis. Obviously, more voters realized there is a difference between listening/watching to Adam perform once a week on television ...and having to endure his voice many times a day (on the radio). Both will have successful careers in their own ways ... I'm just relieved that I'll be hearing more of Kris on the radio.

KRIS ALLEN BLOG: http://www.krisallenation.com/ You can obviously see how do I congrats him on that blog, scroll down to the most bottom part. Whatever, it is his luck, the brightest star in many shining and soothing stars. Yes, surely I do believe that American voters really had done the perfect job for their choice.

I think they both did well and both will have great careers. I like the results and if I had voted, I would have voted for Kris. I believe all the Danny fans swayed over to vote for Kris the final week and that is what caused the upset. I loved the final week and all the extra special performances. Kiss was awesome, Queen and Rod Stewart. Loved all of those performances! All in all, I think America got it right!

Kris is good, but I prefered Adam wayyy more. Kris was just too "normal" for me. I loved Adam's voice and style, and how he made a lot of the songs he sang his own.

I'm happy for Kris, but I'm NOT happy with the outcome. I found Adam to be a much better performer!!! In listening to the various news reports yesterday, it may turn out to be a blessing for Adam. Kris is now locked into a year long contract under total control of American Idol. He will have to sing that silly song they chose for him until his eyes roll back in his head. Adam has only a few rules & may well be able to go on to become a much greater money maker than Kris. Only time will tell who is the most marketable performer. Kris is awfully laid back & from what I've read in other discussions, very religious. He has shown he is unwilling to compromise his principles. So, will he be willing to make the required compromises to further his career??? Adam is more of a rebel who seemed willing to do whatever was necessary to get where he needs to be. I'm hoping the exposure will open doors for him & give him the chance to grow as a performer. Someone here in myLot suggested he'd make a GREAT front man for Queen. Until I heard that, I hadn't even thought about it. I think he showed during the finale that he'd be great with Kiss or Queen!!! I have NOTHING against Kris & wish him well. Yet, I hope to see much. much more of Adam!!!

No, I don't agree with the votes. I still think Adam should have won. In terms of talent, appeal, and showmanship, Adam has the edge. For me, Kris is just too shy, reserved, and quiet to be the next American Idol. Adam is a showman and performer through and through. You can see he really loves the stage and he is such a natural on it. Though I have to say, Kris is good-looking and has a nice enough voice :) I hope Adam records an album too. He deserves it. The result was a real shocker.
