is it necessary to tag each and every discussion and comment

Hi members!
is it necessary to tag all the discussion we have started.as when we are commenting some ones discussion we will be asked to tag our comment,also we have a skip option,but i want to know why tag is necessary and what happend if we skip this option.

I'm back with more info, this time about tags 
When you start a discussion you can add up to 10 tags and 5 of them will show up when you submit your discussion. Then when others add tags, either when responding or when they see your discussion, the 5 that are seen are the ones that are added the most.
The tags help when using the searchbar at the top of the page BUT they also help to get your discussion 'seen'. On the right -----
of EVERY discussion there is a column called 'similar discussions' where all the discussions similar to the one open which have had any recent activity will show up. Anyone answering or reading the one open can then see those to and maybe they will respond. The tags help pick up the discussions which will show in that column-
Therefor tags are definately important!

Another tip:
If you are posting in certain interests then use your own unique tag so that your discussions will show up.
For example I very often use the tag 'fun' in my own. That's what my discussions usually emphasise and then they are in the column on the right, all in the same place if they have recent activity (and I see to it that they have lol)

though you are new to mylot,but try to make descriptive comments on discussions.this type of comments are not considerd and you will not get any earnings on such a one line comments.go to Faqs and read all the rules and regulations to know what you have to do,and what you not have to do.

though you are new in Mylot ,but even then try to make some discriptive comments on discussions.because the one line comments of such type are not considerd and you will not get any earnings from these comments.so first of all go to guidelines link located at below the page.and find that what you have to do and what you don't have to do.keep on mylotting.have a nice day

Hi..
When I start discussions, I always make sure that I submit tags relevant to the title or contents.. Few words or phrases will do.. But when I post comments to other discussions, I will check first if the discussion already has some tags, and if not, I add at least one word or phrase tag to submit.. It's also helpful when you post long discussions as the content is not totally viewed, with the help of those keywords or phrases, you give the idea of the members what your discussion all about...
