dvd drive mising in computer.what to do?

i have a serious problem in my pc.i cannot find dvd/cd drive in device manager.i get the message windows cannot load device driver for this hardware.the driver may be corrupt or missing.what should i do?

I think reinstalling driver will help you.Try to reinstall it from device manager.

Try downloading a new device driver; it's usually pretty easy to do and might be the fastest way to fix your problem. You can try the following site: driverzone.com or do a search for your particular computer to find the compatible driver.hope this helps you.happy mylotting.
