Recently, the words of the Dragon Boat Festival keep appearing in local newspaper, TV advertisement, mobile telephone message.
It remind me the Dragon Boat Festival is coming up soon, life is so busy that I ignore such an important traditional festival.
What date it is? I need to confirm it, according to calendar, the day falls on Thursday next week, it's May 28th.
On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, the chinese celebrate Qu Yuan who was a great poet served as minister to the Chu Emperor. I will have 3 days off,^_^ I should relax and prepare for it well, make it more colourfull and fulling of meaning.
I wanna wee the Dragon Boat Race and eat the delicious dumpling, I'm really looking forward to the day!

Yeah. You also remind me of that, which I almost forget about. It's a big day for Chinese people. All family members should gather, reunite and have lunch together, just like Thanksgiving in the US, except that we memorize Qu Yuan, the great poet who shares the same hometown with me. I feel really proud of him. haha~

Hi emma, I would love to visit China. I have visited Hong Kong and Shanghai a few years ago, but somehow missed out on other spots like the Great Wall and Beijing and other places of interest. But I am definitely going to visit China in my life time. I have been fascinated by its history ..all the best to you and have a great weekend
