Do You Like It When Your Mylot Friends Send You Links To Join?

I've had many of my friends here send me links to join their sites. I've not asked for their links, they just send them to me. How many of you do like to receive this and have you ever joined under them and really kept clicking? I'll admit I have joined some and am still clicking everyday. I do a search before I join, just to make sure they are legit and I always check the forum at the site to see what problems other members are having. I'm guessing the reason behind sending these is because most all my friends I've gotton in the earning money forum so we are all pretty much interested in the same thing. Earning extra money. I'm just wondering how many of you join these sites? Thanks for all responses. Please don't request friendship only to send me links. LOL

I've deleted a couple of friends for the same reason. As far as I'm concerned, friends on Mylot - or anywhere else for that matter - are people you feel you have something in common with and with whom you can build a relationship. Friends do not just use you for their own benefit, and that is what happens when people send links without even having the courtesy to ask first.
I only accept friends once I have checked their profile and their discussions and responses. If I feel we have no common ground, I deny the request. After that, if anyone spams me - and that is what it is if you have not asked for the link - I delete them.
I realise that there are people who want to exchange links and referrals, but they should do that through private messaging, not by abusing the Friends feature.

I do agree with you. I also check profiles before accepting. I guess some people think that they are helping their friends by sending out these links. If they have been paid they want their friends to get paid as well. If someone sends me a link that looks scammy to me I just don't respond and certainly don't join. Thanks for responding and have a great day!

That's actually kind of funny. I was recently talking to someone about something similar to this earlier today. He asked if it was okay to pm your friends and ask them to comment on your discussions, and I said that it's absolutely obnoxious and you should never ask your friends to do something that will benefit only you. He didn't seem to think the same way as me.

I am not joining in all those sites but I will enter into these sites and will read some TOS .if I find it suitable to me, then I will register else I will just ignore them.. But I will not ignore the links only because of the reason that it is unsolicited one. I have joined and got payment from few of such unsolicited links. But my lot members may avoid this and they can send the links to those who asked for it.

Hi friend,
First i myself go into the site and check how much worth it has.If i feel it is really worthy than i would surely join in that invitation link and proceed further. If i feel it is unworthy that i will not join and advise the person who refers me saying that it is not worth to continue. In these way i will do.
Have a nice day

This can help sometimes but I don't only rely on the info my friend sent. I do a search and than decide. It doesn't bother me at all when friends do this, I think they are trying to help me out.

I have a lot of friends here on myLot but I don't send any referral links and I don't like receiving links from them if I didn't ask them to send it to me. I have joined a few sites but those are the sites that I requested from my myLot friends. I give respect to everybody so I expect some respect in return.

For me, I don't mind all the links sent to me by friends or so call friends. Who knows I might get lucky with one of the links, and actually can make money for me. But of course it will be better if the links they introduce to me already making money for them.

I havent gotten really got these links from any one on mylot yet.. but I do have friends that will send me links from time to time... I would not find them to be annoying or anything like that.. They are just trying to help me make some extra income... The nice thing is though, their feelings will not be hurt if I do not join... Its my choice, and I generally will not join something just to help someone out... In order to do most of those sites you have to put all of your personal information on the site... Even if it is just my email, thats still personal, and there is always the possiblity of the site selling that email to other websites, thus filling my email with junk... If its from true friends then no problem, if its from someone that just wants to gain extra points with a site or a five dollar refer bonus etc, without thinking if i could or would use the site, then i would get frustrated and may even get mad.
