music players and their battery demands

I love my music players. I got one from my late father's estate which is one of those that plays MP3 CD's and I bought one that is a MP3 flash player. Also, my late father's estate had a CD player of the old school type. I soon learned that all three of these eat batteries like potato chips. Batteries are not cheap. Four double A's can cost two to four bucks a pop. * I decided to go the rechargeable battery rout. You buy one or two packs of rechargeable batteries, a recharger, and your good to go for at least six months. * What is your preference for music players and their battery demands?

So do I. Unfortunately, many things that plug in require that you pay for the adapter separately, and each plug in requires a different adapter for the most part. Most require the same AA or AAA batteries, and the same recharger recharges all those batteries. I consider my recharger my budget all-around adapter, and a plug in can't help you if you don't have a handy outlet.

I have three items that don't have plugs. They are the ones that gobble the batteries. And when I say gobble, I mean it. One is on the 'road' often enough to be a real financial burden. My income is low enough that a few dollars hurt.

most of the stuff I buy have plugs, the batteries is only for on the road, don't need different adapters, most have built in plugs.

Add to that the camera battery. I have rechargeables, but my clients, for instance, would not remember to use them, so their case managers say "No"

Oh Man! I keep my recharger and rechargeables next to me so I know to recharge. I've a digital camera that eats batteries too.
