Are you afraid of getting older?

Hi. I won't say I fear of it but yes I don't like getting older even a single bit. For me when I turned 20, crossed my teen years, and became matured, as people say, it wasn't cool at all. I wish I could have been in my childhood days for ever.

Im not really afraid of getting old but slightly afraid of the time constraint. I mean I dont think I managed to accomplish the things that I wanted within that time frame that I would have liked. The next thing I know Id be nearing the end of my life and still not be finished with the things that I want done at least in this lifetime.

I'm not afraid of getting older. i think this is the normal way of life. time passed on and everybody get older, day by day. the important is to get older in goods health!!

i don't afraid i will get older. i just want't to do wrong follow i grow. and i always feel regret for what i have done. these days i wish i want earn more money in mylot .

uhhhh, not really......i feel life these days is so uncertain........some young people die all of a sudden.....reason heart attack.......never heard of such young guyz dying of heart attack.......so you never know when is your destined day.....so getting old these days is not really a matter of concern.......living your present does.......if you don't live your present, fearing the future......my friend you have already got grey hair then...... I do not care for being older or younger. I just live my life from day to day. I need to meditate more but I have not been doing it regularly. I will try to make it more regular. Cheers!!

I'm not gonna lie, Yes I'm scared of getting older. My mom keeps saying you're not old but she's been saying that since I was 39, now I'm 45 and time seems to fly faster every year.

I hate getting older.I always think about my life will end soon when my birthday coming.I want to be always young.I still want to do many tying in my life.I hope i will always look young.

Well,i'm afraid of getting older,who is not afraid of it?we all know young represent anything,energy and we can travel everywhere we want,we can get a good job and even we can take time to learn without scare.anyway youth is so good that you can have the world.but who will not getting older,we are ppl,that's the nature.so the best thing we can do just take today,toward tomorrow,enjoy our live,then it's worth while you older.

That's an interesitng questions. I think I am of course afraid of getting older. Luckily, I am looking younger than my age. My students even don't know I have got married and guess I have just graduated from college. In fact, I have been a teacher for nearly 6 years. haha. I am afraid of getting older, but I am more afraid of losing people I love. It is heart-broken to find that you can't see them anymore. So sad.

it seems the older I am the faster time goes by and i hate it. I dont feel old but in a few years i will be 50 and that is scary to me. I feel i have so much more i want to do with my life. my kids dont help cause they think i am ancient and out of it. They ask me about things in the 'olden days' yeah right! maybe just to make me mad. I hate celebrating my birthday too. it's just a reminder of another year passing by. I dont mind if i celebrate with my kids but at work they all want to know hold old you are and then you feel bad because they are all so young.

YES, i admit i am afraid of getting older. I find life wonderful. And i know getting older will changed me a lot. Like health and the things i wanted to do. LOL! I like to be more healthy and i can do many things still like night life and having fun...

I am not scared of getting older at all. It is natural that one becomes old as years pass on. We can't stop time nor can we go against the nature. I do accept this fact positively and move on. Never have I ever thought that I am getting older. Getting older one must be an example to others, but not fear for getting older day by day. What's the point in fearing too? will we become younger by our fear? Time doesn't stop moving because we are scared of something.

YES i am, because it seems like like is so short and i have not done everything i want to do! So i still don't want to get old, i don't think my wisdom is enough or what i know is enough...before i get old, i want to accomplish something, something worth thinking over and over again.

I used to feel bad about getting older - not fear, but dread is probably more like it. Recently I found out I have a terminal illness and I regret wasting time dreading getting older. Getting older is something I wish I had the opportunity to do now. Lesson learned - every thing and every day we're given is a gift.

Hi, I do fear of getting older but we cannot escape this situation. We cannot stop the days from flying off so quickly. What we have to do we must enjoy every minute we have in front of us. we must not make ourself miserable over petty matters. enjoy with your family, the nature which soothes us ,your work which have helped you get a good living, your friends who have shared their secrets with you and other important moments. Never grieve over what you do not have. Although we are becoming old our feelings ant thoughts are the same they are not becoming old. This means that our soul is not getting old just our body is getting old. So one day we must live this world and make place for others. this is only possible if we grow old. So my dear enjoy life now.

Not really. I am still young,there is no need to think about this question,and it is definitely no use to be afaid. Fear just make you more frustrating. why not forget our ages ,enjoy the life thoroughly. Have a nice day,my friend.
