It is unfair but it is the way life is, if everyone were equal in that manner we would be living in more of a socialist society. The American dream is that hard work will benefit you and provide you with all that you need in life. Do you need to be extremely wealthy to live, no not really. I am fortunate to live in a nice neighborhood with nice things, but at the end of the day all these things do not really matter. All that matters is that i can live comfortably and enjoy life. I do not need to stay at the best hotels, and wear the best clothes to be happy. All I need is to be able to pay for the things I need in life and live comfortably.

oh and before anyone makes any assumptions, I did not grow up with money, I had to work hard for every thing that I have. I put myself through college, did my studies and graduated at the top of my class. I paid for everything on my own. I got my first job when I was 13 years old, being a nanny for the neighbor, when I was 16 I went to work at a local store, became a manager in six months time and worked my way through college. I did my time, I worked hard, and I think that if you put in the effort and do what needs to be done you too have a chance to live a comfortable life.

I not agree with you too much.I know it is not fair because people who rich become more rich and poor become more poor. But if no different level people like poor and rich, maybe nobody will do the dirty job like take garbage from house.Just think about it.

I belonged to the not rich nor poor just have enough to survive. I think nothing is fair in this world. I mean if everyone is the same like all people are rich then who is going to work hard and who is going to do those dirty jobs like cleaning etc....

Hey,
Yea I know what you mean, and everyday it seems like the rich people get richer, and the poor people get poorer. Also, I think that I belong to the group of people that aren't rich or aren't poor, just enough money to survive. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

True wealth has nothing to do with money.
Having good health, a few good friends, and your own place to live and food to eat, are real blessings.
Of course having enough money to live comfortably, is an added plus.
But for it all to be equal with everyone, would be very unfair. There are those in society that are lazy, and don’t want to work. Why should they partake of another person’s financial blessings, who has worked hard and saved for the future?
I believe that as a person is blessed with more than enough, it is good to help others as one feels directed to do so, but not because of obligation.
Persistance and hard work, along with the ability to follow a budget, including saving for the future, has great rewards.

well, i can't agree more with you that this world is an unfair world and we can't change anything about it since we are living in a sinful world... i belong to the group of people who just make it enough to get by... not rich but not poor as well... and i am quite happy and satisfied with it because i count it as a blessing from God... take care and have a nice day...

well my friend i would like to point out some thing to you. if you see then there is a lot of things which are balanced in life and there are a lot of things which are not. but then if you at any point of time give it a thought then you will realise that all the things in the world which is nature made or we can say natural are being balanced. may it be the pray and the preditor, may it be the seasons. every thing is balanced. but then we are the ones who are disturbing the balance and that is why there is so much of un even ness in world. some people are rich beyond limit and some are soo poor that they have nothing to eat,

My friend.I think i am between the rich and the poor.
Yes,i agree with you,the world itself is unfair, some make their best but get little or nothing, some lead a luxurious life from the first day they were born, yes,it's money, because with money we can do a lot of things ,almost 99%,when i was young,we can spend more money to get more concern from teachers, now,we can use money to get a better job,the exam itself is rather unfair, the relationship and money is more important in the society. We can't change the situation.
Imagining if you are now can only get little money per month, how you feel? But you get a chance to improve, you will get much more, how you feel?I think you must be happier when you get more.We can't explain, but money is more or less important to our feeling and life.
Come on!

There so many reasons why the the poor is poor and the rich is always rich. for one, poor because they don't have connections, no money, no education and simply because some are extremely Lazy. Some are Rich because they're ancestors of Grandparents where smart and very entrepreneurial in their mind set.and because of that their children had harness their hard work riches.I, on the other are part of the middle class, one you preferred in your last sentence.

i'm also wondering about this sometimes. no matter how hard people are willing to work, they still could make enough for their family's basic needs. i know of some people who are working almost 15 hours a day but are still earning a few bucks. while some people are just sitting behind their desk or just having a great time in malls, hotels, or even coffee shops but are still making a fortune. life could really be unfair in this aspect.

No,absolutely not. Money wouldn't be a reason for us to quarrel.

The world IS unfair. I'd say that some of our circumstance has to do with our persistence, and some has to do with our situation. People, to an extent, determine their situation. Just look at all the Socialist governments of the world. They try to make everything more "fair", but it just doesn't work. It's just the way it is. If everyone was the same, what would be the reason to work hard?

Good health and good luck are more important than having money. Some money is necessary to survive, a severe lack of it can be dire and too much money can make people ungrateful. In the developed countries there is likely to be a mixture of rich, comfortably off and poor. The poor people in those countries get by fine. There might be homeless people though that struggle to survive. In the developing countries most of the people are likely to be poor but the elite might be really wealthy. There is a rich and poor divide. I live in Europe and I belong to the just enough to survive group. Most of my money goes on travel whether I have lots or little money.

I am definitely not rich. I am of the working class. Most times live paycheck to paycheck but have always made our bills and a few extras. I am not poor either. I work and earn and am grateful for having a job and the things I do have. As far as everyone being the same, well lets see. Some people are born into wealth but what about the ones who take the risk and work really hard and their efforts are rewarded one day. While some others are born into a poor home, cannot afford a formal higher education, and the odds are stacked up against them from the start. Would it be fair to make everyone the same? What would be the advantage to strive to achieve and be better? It does seem unfair that some have the chance while others never will. I don't think that everyone being the same is the answer because I think you should be rewarded based on your efforts, but I do think there should be more opportunity for everyone to be able to achieve what ever they are willing to work for!

It's not unfairness. Although there's a rich man, but he work hard to achieve his richness. So don't ask about those unfairness before you work hard in your life. You know what, you might think that's unfair, but if you are an optimistic person, you would considering that unfairness as a challenge. With a challenge you will competing with others in your life to be the best one. This is practical world. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Yes, that's really happen in our society now a days. The rich becomes more richer while the poor become more poorer. I saw and I read lots of stories about Cinderella people because of patience, perseverance and endurance they got to the top from zero. Others join game of luck and they won millions of dollars. Others Rich then downfall, Poor became rich for awhile then go back to poor state. Others poor to rich to poor to rich. Others are just enjoying their lives in middle class state. While others are happy being poor. While others are feel bad in being rich and famous they can't go without bodyguards. Simple and kind people are the most happy nearly most of the time. Have a nice day.
