I ate dinner at 9pm tonight. I know...that's a bit late.
I can eat dinner anywhere from 5pm to 9pm depending on what is going on in my life and also depending on my mood.
Do you eat dinner at the same time every night or does it vary?
Why do you eat that the time that you choose?
Will you not eat dinner past a certain time?

LOL--I was eating dinner the same time as you! Most nights I eat dinner around 7:00 but I have no real "strict" rule about when to eat---I eta when I feel like eating--also I got up later today as I'm still resting from the carpal tunnel/strained wrist business I have, so knocked my "schedule" out a bit

I didn't know about the carpal tunnel. Sorry to hear about that. I hope you feel better soon.
Yeah, it was a late night for me tonight. I'm just in one of those moods. I cant get myself motivated to do anything. Dinner was fairly easy to make, it just took me a while to get it started.
Now I'm putting off taking some laundry out of the dryer to put in the next load that I need ready by morning.

Hello,
I try to eat dinner at 5pm each night, but on some days that is not so possible, because of work and other family obligation. Eating dinner at a late time is not such a good idea, because your food don't have much tome to digest before going to bed, and that could lead to digestive problems and unwanted weight gain, so I encourage all to try to eat dinner , at a time when ytou know you are going to be active afterwords, so that your food can digest properly.
Happy My Lotting!

I always eat my dinner at 6:30 PM. I choose that time because my husband and I have already get back from work, take some rest, and finish doing our evening prayer. Sure we can have our dinner later than that, but we don't usually do it because late to eat will affect our stomach health.

I eat dinner at between 5.30 and 6 each night mainly, but I've been known to eat later because of the heat, or something holding me up which has to be done. Then I've eaten anywhere between 6 and 9. I don't go to bed until the wee small hours anyway, so it has time to digest. Circumstances prevail these days, I'm afraid.
Brightest Blessings.

At home, I could really eat anytime that I want, and that includes breakfast and lunch so I'm not sure if I should call them that anymore since, you eat them at particular times and if you eat them at another time, wouldn't that make sense? Eating breakfast during lunch since you just woke up? (^_^")
Kidding aside, now-a-days, I get to eat dinner before six o'clock. That's because that's when I am able to eat during work. I even have to eat fast sometimes (-_-") and then, I sometimes get hungry on my way home so I end up eating again by the time I get back (^_^ )

I usually eat dinner around 9 p.m. I most times try to eat early because this helps me to get good sleep at night. I think if a person eat dinner very late he or she might be able to get a good sleep. I also eat dinner according to my mood. When I eat food from outside, I tries to eat food early.

I eat dinner at a different time almost every day. it depends on what I'm doing or how hungry I am. If I happen to snack a lot during the day I'll eat supper at like 6 or 6:30. I know they say it's not good to eat late at night or right before bed but there are some nights I'm just not hungry until late at night and I'll eat at 8 or 9. Not the healthiest thing in the world I've heard, but I can't help it, when I'm hungry I'm hungry.

God morning miamilady, here in sweden it is really windy outside. I am not happy with that since I have to go in to town and meet my dentist. I also need to do some grocery shopping since my freezer are empty and some other things are needed. I have five days of from work and I like to spend them online as much as I can. Now to your topic, when do we eat dinner...I make dinner about 17:30 and we eat 18:30. I work all day long, from 07:00 and 16:00. I need som rest before making dinner so therefore that dinner time. But I also like to keep my son from eating later in the evenings so if we eat 18:30 he will be fine and go to sleep and we do not eat more that evening.
We have the scheduel for eating trying to eat healtier and reduce some weight. Therefore we have breakfast, fruit, lunch, fruit and then dinner...and we have three ours between those meals. And it is rather working fine...

Our usual time to eat dinner is 7 or 8 pm depending upon what time hubby gets home from work. Sometimes a little bit late when he gets home late also. But there are times that I eat ahead of him when he is very late and I am already hungry. There are also times that we arrived late from an appointment and we still eat dinner even if it is already 11pm.

I am on a diet. I try to eat by 6p. It is something that isn't good to go that far into the evening to do but sometimes it is 7 or 8p. before we eat just because we are active and not home until then. Summer is like that. In the winter we are all inside more so we are on a schedule. We do try to eat at the same time every night because of the six year old in the family who needs to be on a schedule.

I eat dinner whenever I get hungry. I don't have a set time. Sometimes I may eat at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and then not want any dinner, but then snack more at night. I know that's really bad to snack at night. I try to never eat too late because I don't want to have indigestion at night or problems with heartburn when I go to sleep.

A 9:00 dinner would be early for me. My husband and I both tend to work closing shifts at work, so we eat dinner after we get home. Usually, this ends up being somewhere between 10:00 and 11:00 pm. We haven't experienced any problems with this. Both of us are still at a healthy weight.

I think you're the only person I've ever heard of that eats later than me! lol
I think we adjust our eating schedule to match our life schedule. It just makes sense. If you're day starts and ends later than everyone else, then it only makes sense for your meals to follow the same patern.
Thanks for the response.

Hello miamilady!
My dinner time varies from time to time. There are instances when I eat dinner as early as 6:30pm. There are also instances when I eat dinner as late as 11:00pm. It depends on certain factors like my work schedule. Sometimes, I work until 8:30 or 9:00pm. If that is the case, I will be eating dinner a little late than usual. Besides, I can't eat immediately after I get off work. It would take me about 20 to 30 minutes before I eat my dinner after working late.

I use to have a set time to eat dinner but now it varies. When I am off I try to have dinner done by 745pm-815pm. So the kids can eat and be in the bed my 845pm-930pm. My schedule varies and so does my husband so it is very impossible for use to have dinner at the same time everynight. Sometimes its 930 before we can eat dinner. I always make sure my kids have at least two snacks a day or sandwiches to get them to dinner. Its very hard, but when I was on leave from work. I did have dinner ready at 8pm. The kids were in bed no later then 9pm.
It can be done but it depends on your schedule and the time length you have available. This is a good discussion.

I usually eat dinner between 8:30 - 9:00 pm because my travel on the way home is about 2.5 hours. But I eat snack at 4:00 pm in the office so that I will not get hungry on my way home.
