when i was still a grader, you can always find me at the back of the line. i was taller than any other boys too. when i reached high school, i seemed to stoip growing vertically. my classmates usually tease me to have that vitamins promoting growth. the boys are growing taller rapidly and some girls too.that's where i begun to feel conscious about my height. i made it sure that i wear clothes that would unveil my being short and stout.im 5'1" as of now and the shortest among my peers.they say i shouldn't wear flats.are you conscious of your height?

Yes sometimes because sometimes I'm around shorter people and I fill uncomfortable and when I'm aroud taller people I don't feal that bad. I don't know why I have this craysy idea that when I look down at people that are shorter than me may think that I am looking at hem in a bad way. I'm 5'4" that is not tall at all but my mom and one of her sisters is 5' even and also two of my husbands ants are 4' or 4'5". I guess that I feal that way because I had a friend that was short I don't know what's the technical name for people that do not grow more than 3 or 4 feet. My point is that he would always make me feal bad because he would tell me that it was wrong for me to look down at him and he would tell me with a serious face and two minutes after he would tell me that it was a joke. But it was never funny to me and now I when I'm talking to somebody that is shorter than me I will try to sit down if possible before I look at them.

hi flagella 08 yes I am so conscious of my height because I can never reach high shelves unless I 'have a step stool and I am a bit taller than you at five ft,two inches. I would love to be at least five ft five inches, My husband used to tease me about my height but to me it was never all that funny. I always hated to have to call a taller person to get something off a shelf whereas a taller person could just reach up and pull it down,no problem. What really fries me is that when you are short, every pound you are overweight looks even bigger than you really are.

that's what i experienced too.i always have someone to get things from higher shelves. i also had difficulty in hanging clothes since our clothes line is that high. well, i think we need to accept this fact. we can't grow tall now and it's in our genes.

Well Girls look taller even if they are in normal height. So even if you are 5'1",I guess you look as a normal height girl because of those sandals and all.And you will look shorter if you were some short dresses.I'm 6'1" and I feel that I'm tall enough as boy.I was normal till my schooling and when I started to go collage I started growing tall. And my growth was like a lightening,I grown taller in very short span of time and after that it never increased. And it doesn't even look good if I'm taller than that, because I'm a bit skinny. And now I'm much more worried about my weight, rather than my height..

i wish that too. but i think that would not be effective for me. being short is in my genes. my husband too is not that tall so i don't think my next generation will get the chance to be taller.

I used to be conscious because since 12, I have always been the shortest boy in my year. But now, I really don't care anymore because at least I'm being noticed because people always call me short boy lol. But at least its better than being by yourself because I have a lot of friends in school and I'm kool with everyone.

I wish I was 5'1. I am a female who is 5'8 and I hate it. I can never wear all the beautiful high heels I have because I will be way taller than my boyfriend and that makes me more consious.

i have a friend who is taller than her husband.they don't look good on their wedding. the boy had to nod up just to kiss the bride. worst, the bride wore heels.i forgot to tell her that.anyways, it's already recorded in the pictures.

By Indian women's standard, I am considered tall at 5'6"...though I must say that in school it was a great disadvantage as I was always made to sit at the back. In my flirting days too, I could not find boys tall enough for me...my dad is 6' and I have been brought up to like tall men...so my idea of a perfect bf began with height...he just had to be tall or no chance with me. Luckily I found the man of my dreams and we are now happily married for 12 years. So, yes, I am aware of my height and its advantages (esp. in crowded buses, where you just can breathe in the crowd)

I'm 5'1" also and over the years I found it a bit tough being short, but now that I'm a little older its not so bad, though sometimes its a little bit frustrating when I reach for something and its to high and I cant get it, but oh well thats life I guess.

that's quite tall here. the average height of a Filipino woman is just 5 feet. when one is 5 feet up tall, she is already qualified to join task force and modeling.

i remembered what i said before that i'd rather choose to be tall than pretty.the height makes any girl so attractive especially when skinny and tall. that's really my frustration.

At 5'3", I am only conscious of my height when I need something from a high shelf. On the up side, I can date most men and think they are tall.

Sometimes. I am short. Sometimes, I get teased with my height at school. After years of teasing, I got used to it. I just laugh about it.

Am sooo conscious of my height that I never wear flats when going out. Actually, am not short but my dad implanted in my head that I am. But, comparatively, I am average height. In the crowd, I can still stand out. Yet, there's something about height that I wish I were taller. There are too many advantages being a bit taller than most. Wearing heels help a lot when you feel uncomfortable being shorter than most in the crowd. It helps boost self-confidence. But, actually, attitude is all. *wink*

Nope.... I am not conscious in my height but, I love my height. Actually, we are in the same in height 5'1" but, I shouldn't wear high heels. All my sandals and shoes are flat because I am comfortable with it no matter what they say.The most important is you are healthy.

man has to be tall and women has to be shorther. Always been like that so of course it become conscious for everyone at one point or another. Imagine a 4 feet guy dating a 6 feet women. Do I need to say more?
