Yes, photoshop will help me having a nice painting. what I did was scan the sketching or any cartoon then I paint it colors. Or I do the paint the abstract designs. It works. There are some techniques you need to learn and get it. You can do it manually on your hand and paint. That's what I do from the start then later on, I got lots of brushes designs and patterns which make me easy to paint at the same time, I'll get good designs in painting. =)

hi Thank you for the comment. I will try to scan my sketches and will put color on photoshop. Do know where to download these brushes designs and patterns? So that it will help me to do some manipulation and effects to my sketches and to make them more alive and look beautiful..Thanks again,,Cheers!!!

A digital painting you mean? Yes, it is absolutely a "swiss army knife" of digital painting. With photoshop you not only can do simple thing like cropping, brighting or rotating images, but also the complicated task. Making a desktop wall paper for example, you can crop your face and paste it to other cool environment. You can make an expert style photo just using photoshop, or filter your photo and change it to a cartoon style. Oh, almost forget, one more secret weapon of photoshop called "action". Action is a line of command that programmed before, from beginning to the last step, it is make your job a lot easier.

The new one has come out.photoshop 8.0 and 9.0 are more helpful. there are e-text book on the net which can teach people to use photoshop. some forums also can offer this kind of discussions

ps is useful for photo handling. when you have some photos that you are not satisfied, you can use ps to improve it, such as getting of red eye and freckles,cutting and amend the photos

For extarcting the flavour of the painting techniques out of the photoshop .you have to be good crative skill and you have the skillz of the Pen tools effectively.
painting of any type in photoshop require depth knowledge og object you are drawing .Some time after reading the paintings tutorial on net we realize that it is very easy but when we start to make it .Its show how impoprtant is the depth know ledge object you are painting As i am a tutorial writer i must say that before painting particular object first aanlyze it deeply :)
