I can see crowds of youngsters entering the internet cafe to play games and often they visit sites prohibited for their age group, yet they are fond of it, Playing games online is a sheer waste of time and money, What do you say?

I disagree completely. I play games on the internet. As much as possible, I make sure I can get rewarded for them in some way. But that isnt always necessary. Sometimes I just need something mindless to help me settle down after a long day. Sometimes I just have a minute or two to kill before I have to do something else. Yes, it is possible to waste a lot of time on games. But it is possible to waste a lot of time on anything!

I used winster for a long time to get points for inboxdollars. I liked the site, but it took me so long to get to the cashout for 4 dollars towards inboxdollars! I caught myself occassionally paying to play the games, too. I won't use winster anymore, it doesnt pay well enough for me. But I agree, sitting in front of a game is a great way to wind down after a long day, especially if you win =)

I havent gotten anything from Winster yet. I doubt I will play anymore after I get my first prize! It is mostly just for fun, but the prize will be nice when I get it!

It's not entirely a waste. If you spent time on playing offline games, then playing online games cannot hurt. But ofcourse going to cafe and spending time there can be a wasteful habit ,but if it is done at home with a reasonable broadband connection then it is a good timepass. I visit the Playtopia site for online games and it is also a site which helps you win money for playing online games. So if I waste time on computer games , I thought why not waste it for online games. But I use it only at home and during the leisurely hours. I spend time on mylot and playtopia equally. One increase my typing speed and vocabulary and the other gives exercise to my brain. I didn't mention it , the games in that website are puzzles and the likes. Try it ,if not atleast visit the site navigate. If you are a gamer , you will love it.

it's really a waste of time. But I play Internet games a lot (not at Internet cafe, I don't want to spend real money for them), it's a waste of time like every other unuseful thing.... also walking around for hours is a waste of time... but many people do it. It's just a way to enjoy yourself. You might see even writing answers here as a waste of time, ins't it?

i agree that playing games on the net is a waste of time as it can run up your net and electric bill. Where as if your playing a game on your pc which you dont need the net for you can play it on a laptop using your battery therefore your not using electric and your bill stays lower. I dont see the point in online games .

I suppose it depends on your own outlook on life. My brothers use to play computer games all the time and thats how they got interested in the programming behind it. They are now working as computer programmers, one programs computer games. Playing games inspired them. I think computer games can aid mental agility and increase your reflexes. They are also becoming an important part of the socializing process for many youngsters. It gives them a common interest to talk about.

hi. It depends. Online gaming or digital gaming has emerged as one of the biggest market and industry worldwide. A lot of people are having jobs because of it and there is surely a lot of money in all this. Now if this thing don't cross the limit of entertainment and gets into the zone of addiction, then I have no complains.

I dont think its a waste of time and money. I play games on the internet also and I know what it is like. If you play multiplayer games on the internet then you will be able to connect to many different people almost in a similar manner to that of a social networking site. Playing and competing against others is a great way to enjoy ourself.
