Personally I meet my man thru my X husband....he made the first move. I had a secret crush on him that I would have never acted on but one night he sent text messages to my cell phone telling me that I deserved better....this was 2 1/2 years ago....long story short I couldn't be happier.

I have been with my husband for just over 10 years now and to tell you the truth when I first met him I was not interested in him at all. He lived beside my cousin and she would tell me that he liked me but I was always like no...finally one night she had a get together at her place and he was there and I got to talking to him and we really "hit it off" and then we spent the next few days hanging out together and after about four years we got married and had two kids and couldn't honestly be happier.

I met him at my job and he made the first move. That was 19 years ago. We went our separate way two years ago on friendly terms and we will probably be back together by next year. Its complicated but its love and I guess I wouldn't have it any other way.

I meet my significant other online, yes, on myspace. We started chatting on myspace for awhile until we decided to exchange phone numbers. Later on, we planned on meeting, which we did, and it was he who made the first move, which I gotta tell you guys it might've been too early. But we kept on hanging out until finally he asked me out. We've been together ever since, and this tuesday is our 1yr anniversary!! I am so happy and so in love! I wouldn't change him for the world.

i think when you meet that right someone and do nothing you might be passing up your chance for love and a lasting relationship, and to be shy either man or woman is a big mistake. all they can do is say no and if they do ,well it's over and you move on. when the eye's meet you know so speak up. its been so long i cant remember who made the 1st move but id do it again in a second.

Hi mZtucker, well I met her on the chat room,I was liking her id nickname, it took us 3 hours chatting, and did like her, I did asked her cell phone number and starting sending her text messages. So I really was the one who made the first move. Now were on our 2 years and 4 months, and it's not anymore a long distance relationship, I am with her everyday, and don't wanna be out of her sight! Anyway have a nice day to you!

When i was in that situation i was not aware of the feeling of love. There was some changes in me but since i have never fallen in love before it took time for me to understand. When i was trying to comprehend this she made the first move.
I gave her a hard time. She had to say it quiet a few times before i could express myself and accept truly i am in love.
And my expression to her was i sent her a huge email which took me 3 to 4 hours to write. But one thing i did was i did not read back what i wrote just sent her whatever i came from inside me.

I met my husband in 2nd grade... we were classmates. We went to the same high school too and that's when he courted me. I couldn't see him as a boyfriend material so I refused but he kept coming back even when he's got a handful of girlfriends with him all the way to college. I finally accepted him to be my boyfriend when we were done with college and already had separate jobs. It was a long distance relationship but it worked out anyway so we're two years and 7 months married now and we're having a baby soon. Now when we reminisce the past, he goes back to that time when we were still in 2nd Grade and tells me that I have always been his dream girl. He was already in love with me since 2nd grade. hahahahha!
