Whats the difference between Jews and Christians?

The Jewish people are a civilization. They have genetic markers that distinguish them also. The do not believe in the christian god jesus or in his mother mary or the invisible third god the holy spirit. Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi. The Jews have a Holy Book called the Tanach, which is close to the christians old testament. It is read from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, so the translation is correct. They also read the Torah, which is the Five Books of Moses, which is also contained in the Tanach. This Book is also in Hebrew and Aramaic. There is also the oral tradition that was eventually written down and commented on by various Rabbis and this is called the Talmud. There are a couple of versions of this. Most Jews never read the whole Talmud because it is very long and involved and very difficult to read. Also, most of it never applies to ones life. The Jews were the first peoples to be monotheists and remain so. The only other monotheists are the Muslims. In their history, the Jews were promised by Hashem, The Master of the Universe, that a Messiah, an earthly King, would come one day and free them from all opression. He would rule over the earth, and there would be a 1,000 years of peace and prosperity on earth under the Messiahs rule. It has always been true that it is easier to get people to do what you want them to do if there is a common factor to bind them together. Throughout history the Jews have been used as the scapegoat to bind groups together. The Romans used them. Hitler used them. It is easy because they are different. They stand out. They used to always dress differently and many still do. They pray differently. Their houses of worship are different. They eat differently. They make sure that their children study hard and get good jobs. So they are always doctors and lawyers etc. So they always stand out and are easy to find and attack. Easy to find to use as a scapegoat. Easy to blame when things go wrong. Easy to accuse of things even if they are totally innocent. Shalom~Adoniah

The Jews in movies are stereotyped. They are like any one else. The practicing Jews do not believe that Jesus in the son of God and came to the earth to save us from our sins. They are still waiting for the messiah to come. They do follow the Torah or Pentateuch which is the same as the first five books of the Christian bible. They also follow the Talmud which is supposed to explain and describe the laws listed in the Torah. The Jews are also a race just like say the Germans or French.

Christians follow the teachings of Jesus , while Jews do not.Christians and Jews share the same 10 commandments in the Bible, which is the Old testament in the Bible or The Torah .But the New Testament is for Christians only. Why are Jews made fun of?My theroy is that they have stuck to their rules of worship and haven't followed Jesus' teachings. That type of strength is threatening so weak non Jews try to demean them in any way they can.

Well many religious differences have been pointed out, here's some more. Christian Religion derives from the Jewish Faith, Christian religion started from Christ, hence the name. Christianity is a religion not related by genetics, Jews are a genetic race. The importance of this is that many Jews believe Jesus is the Messiah but refuse to call themselves Christians because it is a concept brought about by the Romans.

Christians dont hate Jews and they can never hate them because CHRIST came as a jew. We will always love Jewish people forever! Shalom
