I very much enjoy listening to the oldies, those of the fifties and the sixties. I have a collection of CD's of the songs of those decades. Amongst my favorites, "Just Walking in the Rain" tops the list ! Ha ha ! Do you enjoy listening to oldies ? Which is your favorite ?

I grew up in a house that my parents always had music playing. I love the oldies that was what I was raised on. People can't believe how I would know the words to all the songs, but when you heard them over and over you learn. The oldies are the best ever and after so many decades are still great.

I love oldies. When I'm in the mood, its all i listen to all day. Though my taste in music is really eclectic. I love the music of Dusty Springfield, Michael Buble, Anne Murray, Everly Brothers, Cascades & Angela Bofill..just to mention a few.

I grew up in a house where my parents always played music back in the 50s and 60s. So that is all I listened to growing up. People are amazed how I know the words to all the songs. When that is all you are listening to for years you learn and to me the songs from the 50s and 60s were the best ever. They are still great decades later. There are to many to name as my favorite!

How dare you call them "Oldies". Why it was only yesterday that that song was in the top ten wasn't it?lol Of course, I listen to them. I am a product of that time frame. I graduated High School in the 70s, but we listen to all of those songs. We had a Band called the Sunshine Trolley and we played all of those songs too, as well as writing a few of our own.

I sure do. I listen to music all the time, anyway. I was a teenager of the '60s and I was a big Beatle fan! I also like The Doors and especially their lead singer, Jim Morrison! I had a huge crush on him! I liked just about all of the music from the '60s but my all time favorite was "Light My Fire" by The Doors. I liked all of the '50s music, too. Both of my sisters were teenagers of the '50s and I naturally got to hear the musci from that era. We all liked Elvis, especially. Kathy.

I forgot to mention that I think youtube is a very good site. I watch videos and listen to oldies music on it all the time. I was new to youtube when I first got this computer and I really do think it was a godsend. My stereo hasn't been working for quite sometime and I've been getting to hear a lot of songs that I missed hearing. Kathy.

I enjoy listening to oldies more than anything actually. I like a lot of the love songs from the 50's and 60's. I love oldies a lot. B-) The crazy thing about this is that these songs never seem to get old after 50 years. That is how you know they are from the heart.

I love to listen to oldies more than anything out today. But I go back even further. I love big bands . I have been into Cole Porter for while and frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennet.I also love Patsy Cline and other country artists too. They are great to sing along with.

I do enjoy the oldies, as well as other kinds of music. I grew up with a brother who was older than me so I remember a lot of the old songs, and get kinda nostalgic when I hear certain songs.

I also enjoy listening to oldies coz it makes me remember my parents. And when we were kids, they always listen to their music, that's why whenever I hear oldies it always remind me when I was a kid. I really don't have a favorite, as long as the song was the music that my parents used to listen to, I guess, they're all my favorites.

Hi there greenline! I love listening to old songs! One of my favorites is The Beatles. They wrote their songs very good. Well it really depends on my mood to listen to oldies songs. Sometimes I love modern songs. Sometimes metal, grunge, new age, etc. But most of the time when I want to relax, I just listen to oldies. It makes me relax much more than other genres of music. :)
