Are PTC sites worth the upgrade?

I joined NeoBux ALMOST a month ago. I started out thinking it was a pretty good site, but I only get .04 /day and I still have 2 more days before I can refer someone to NeoBux. I just can't see paying the $$$ to upgrade worth it for this site. Would I get only .05/day then?
I joined ClixSense the same day and have almost twice as much $$$ earned as NeoBux. I believe that site (it could have been a diff PTC site) said if I upgraded there were 250 ads available. OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't be able to view 250 ads per day, but how many more ads do they realistically give you?
I wouldn't spend my money on upgrading, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't invest my PTC site's earnings into upgrading a site, ONLY if it was worth it. Do any of you upgrade your PTC's and how do you decide it it's worth it or not? How many more clicks do you get just from upgrading?

im a standard member in neobux and till now its hard for me to earn. All my earning just goes to renewing and buying refs.
guess the only way to sure profit is to get golden with sufficient number of rented referrals as well.

I'm only upgraded at a few sites: Clixsense, Wordlinx and Trafficnowfire.com. I haven't been paid at Clixsense or Wordlinx, but I'm close at Clixsense and I just upgraded at Wordlinx. I know I'll get my money from them though. I've definitely gotten paid at Trafficnowfire.com. You can reach payout alot faster when you're upgraded than if you just have the free memberships.

I am not upgraded on either but do belong to both. From what I have read on upgrading for Clixsense, I would probably do that one first.
