I guess that what you know about the specific knowledge is more important. You should be able to have some insight on how to do things efficiently, and effectively is more important. With education, it is simply a textbook. With some writing and reading skills on specific can be enough. You must know how to analyze things too.

I think we need both. Because look how would we know more about that job if we don't have a formal education about it and we need experience because we need to be professionally trained. Education and experienced are always together and is paired up whenever we want to get a beter paying job.

Thinking about the points test to get into Australia it is great to be young, well educated and have at least two years work experience. I am a primary school teacher so I would say for a person to get a good job they need the highest level of education possible for them. In my opinion an enjoyable job paying $30,000 a year would be more desirable than a horrible job paying $50,000 a year. I was thinking about career choices when I was a teenager and I spoke to my mum's neighbor, a lawyer. He told me he hated his job because it was so stressful. Even though he was paid a high salary he wasn't happy in his work. I am a primary school teacher and my job has the delight of teaching the children. I like to see them reach their potential and give them praise for things they do well. However the paper work can be challenging and the meetings boring. It is not a well paid position compared to some other professions like legal work, accountancy and high up business posts. Education wins but experience is almost as important in my opinion.

Hi. It seems that you're new here in mylot. This will be good site which you can earn. Anyway, regarding your question, what is important for me is education to get a better paid job. After your education, you can gain experience from the field of your expertise and interest as well. To get high paying jobs, you need your education as your first stepping stone. From then, you can gain experience from your job. But Im not saying that there is no chance for anyone without education to have better paying job, it's really up to us. It requires so much hardworks and patience to be successful.

Well I think both of them are very important and go hand in hand. Education helps you to acquire a better paid job but experience would also be an ideal thing to have especially in certain jobs. Sometimes they ask you to have certain experiences because a job varies from the books that we learned to the practice itself. I think both Education and Experience should be considered because in some cases we might not have experience since we might have just finished education and we need to be given a chance to acquire experience itself but still I believe that a person should have both of these assests.
