New mylot tab - "discussions my referrals started"

Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a tab were you could easily access all the discussions that your referrals have started? Yes, I know they are on your friendlist aswell, but it would be something extra; not a neccesity.
It might encourage some of us more to give our referrals a boost and help them on their way of exploring mylot. Just a thought that popped into my head, really.
What do you think about this?
Any tabs you would suggest to improve mylot?

That's a great idea, it would make it easier to try and answer your referrals discussions. I don't personally have any referrals but if I had, I would certainly want to reply to their discussions.

I have multiple referrals but by far not all of them are active anymore. The ones that are active though, I would like to support in whatever way possible

And to go a little off-topic on off-topic, the live versions of Fear Of The Dark and Bring Your Daughter... were recorded in Finland... Proud to be finnish

Yes, I am pretty sure it is the live version. Bring your daughter is on it as well.
Finland is a lovely country and it has brought forward some awesome bands aswell . I hope to visit there some day.

I don't personally have any referrals, bt I think that it would be helpful to those who do. There are so many people who start out here and then just dissappear, it would be a great way to help out the new people who may be having difficulties with the site. Great idea.

Very true, Breezie. It would be a good thing if we could help people out some more. It won't keep everyone in, but at least a good amount of people. And more people means more profit for mylot as a website aswell. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion

It's best to try and find people who enjoy writing and discussing rather than people that are only looking to make money. If you enjoy writing the money comes as a bonus and otherwise they may think it earns them too little and they will stop being active fact. Tasks are great, they earn a lot faster and they will attract other people aswell. I make a lot more money nowadays too even though I will keep discussing aswell as it's too much fun and I would miss my mylot friends .

Hi Cyberfluuf, Well I haven't any active referrals so it wouldn't be of benefit to me but I can see how this would work as my own sponsor has not once ever answered any of my discussions but as I am such an active myLotter they have probably earnt loads from me and if they encouraged their referrals would probably earn a lot more too. That's too bad, Ellie. They should treasure you as a referral because you are so active and a good mylot friends aswell. If you refer people I feel you have a certain responsibility to help these people along the way and to try and be their friend. There should be some appreciation for the fact people are willing to sign up through your link.

It would be a brilliant idea if I'd have any active referrals which is not the case at the moment.
I can't come up with any tab ideas but it would definitely be handy if you'd be able to see the whole list of replies you're replying to. At the moment you only see the first one meaning you'd have to have either 2 tabs open or have a text editor open and copy/paste the stuff to it, to know what you're actually reacting to.

No, I don't really like this idea, just because it will slow down myLot even more than it is right now... The traffic is way too big, and putting an extra megabyte or so, will make it even slower, and right now, myLot is getting so slow, I try not to get on it as much, because it is slowing my computer down.. Sometimes, it even messes up my internet, and I hate when it does that, because I have to wait a minute or so, to get my internet back...

That's your honest opinion. Personally I haven't experienced this problem yet, but if mylot is allready that full perhaps you would consider it better if we lost some of the tabs? I'm curious to see if anyone else responds that has the same problem with mylot, as I haven't heard it before but I can see why it would annoy you. I wouldn't like it if mylot was slow either. Wow that is good suggestion. In that way we are helping our referrals to earn here in Mylot and helping ourselves too. I have poor referral technique. My referred member in mylot is never active. They are not hardworking like me LOL. I hope mylot reads this discussion and do it, as an additional to new face of MYlot.

Thank you for the compliment. I agree that it can be hard to keep your referrals active. Having extra ways to make this more easy would indeed be very welcome. I am not a very good referrer either, but who knows, people are likely to stick around longer if they see you appreciate them, respond to them and want to help them.

I like the idea!.. But look at the tabs, it seem like there's no more space for "my referrals started".. hehehe But still I think it will be better if they integrate this feature^_^.. I only have 2 referrals and none of them are active..

You are right, it's pretty crowded. On the other hand, the layout of mylot has changed over the years so I am pretty sure we aren't done yet and that there might come even more tabs in the future. Perhaps it can be integreated into the friends tab to save space. There is still a lot to brainstorm about . Thanks for responding!
