How Many Of You Exercise Everyday?

I exercise everyday, whether it's walking, doing pilates, riding horseback, swimming, floor exercises, whatever. I take a break on Sundays, though. Like I've said before, I walk three times a week. The rest of the time, I do some of the other things I mentioned. I try not to overdo it so I just do one of these things about thirty minutes to an hour everyday. How about you? Do you exercise everyday?

Great to hear that you regularly exercise.
I am a fitness freak. So i make it a point that i regularly go for jogging. The best way to exercise is to aviod using lifts and use staircase instead. But only on sundays there is a exception.
Well happy mylptting.

That's right. Exercise makes you feel good. I didn't know you were into boxing. I used to play badmitton a lot when I was younger. When we first moved into this house in 1959, we had a net, rackets, and some birdies. We also played volleyball, which I enjoy a lot. My cousins, nephews, and I had a lot of fun in those days. I don't know what happened to all of that stuff. I have a pretty large back and front yard. Kathy.

Lucky you. You know how to play volleyball.
I did learn that sport, but I can never play it. After a few passes, my arms get bruised that's why I could never enjoy it. Each time my friends and I are at the beach, we always bring a volleyball with us, but I never got the chance to play for more than 1 minute.

No, I do not, but I certainly need to. Some aspects of my job get me up and moving, others do not. I probably walked at least thirty minutes yesterday, not briskly but walking, nonetheless, with clients. I have done very little today except go to WalMart. Tomorrow is Sunday, and I may take a walk, or not.

Well, at least you get some exercise. It's understandable if you don't always have time. It sounds like those clients really keep you busy. Exercise makes you feel good, that's for sure. I can always tell the difference in how I feel if I miss a day. Thank you for responding and happy mylotting. Kathy.

I dont workout everyday...somedays are just crazier than others...LOL, but I do get to workout at least 3 times a week, although this week I have managed the last 4 days straight and I plan on keeping it up...I work out to dvds and I am determined to lose the 6 lbs I have said I need to lose all summer... so now I am staying focused and getting up early and doing my workouts!!
that is great that you get to do that... being a mom, somedays I get it done... somedays I dont... but I have learned that if I get up early enough I can get it done... now I just have to stay away from the snooze button!!!
Take care and happy mylotting.

I need to stay away from the snooze button, myself, lol! I manage to get my exercising done later in the day. I think it would be better if I could do it earlier, though. That way, I would feel more up to doing what I need to do the rest of the day and the exercising will be gotten out of the way. It's understandable if you don't always have time to exercise, especially if you have a family, but at least you get to do it three or four times a week. Kathy.

I used to have a really hard time motivating myself. Now I tell myself, once my youngest goes down for her nap that is when my workout begins. It's been a lot easier this way as I don't have to worry about her getting in the way because she's sleeping and I can focus and actually look forward to doing what I need to do.
With the exception of Sunday, I workout everyday and really look forward to it especially now that I am seeing results.

Thank you for responding. I used to go to a gym everyday and that's what kept me motivated. I quit going because they went up on their membership and I couldn't afford it. I still continue to exercise at home, though. I can tell the difference in the way I feel when I miss a day. Like you, I don't exercise on Sunday, either. Kathy.

Hey youless! How are you doing?
In other words, you walk to and from work everyday. This is a great way to exercise. A long time ago before cars were invented in the united states, some people walked to work, school, etc. Some people rode horseback everywhere they went. People in the united states didn't have to worry about weight management back then the way they do now. My grandmother used to say she walked three miles in the rain! Bless her heart, when her mind got bad, she got to where she would repeat that over and over. Kathy.

Hi Frank! I'm glad to hear that you exercise this much. If it's too cold, too hot, too rainy, too this, or too that, I exercise indoors. That's when I either go to the mall to walk or exercise at home. When I exercise at home, or in the house rather, I do pilates or floor exercises from some books I have. Haqppy mylotting and have a good day/night, whatever time it is in China. Kathy.

I can't raise my hands because it is stiff.
I think you hav understood my answer, haven't you? I am a little lazy and I believe that a walk will be enough for me instead of doing yoga or excercise. I used to do yoga a month or two ago but I have stopped it also. I have decided that the day I will have a job in my hand to earn money, then on I will start exercising. This is a promisse to my body!

You can still take time out to exercise while you are hunting for a job. You can start out with an easy exercise like walking and then work up to the harder ones like some of the floor exercises. I never have done yoga but I would like to get into this. Walking is good for you, though. You can just stick with it if you want to. Good luck in finding a job. Kathy.

before i used to go to the gym and it helps me keep fit and energizes my day. but now, i've been very busy with my kids going to school and still i have to teach my students part time too, even though it's only part time but still my time isn't enough going out to the gym, maybe i will find a way to help me have an exercise daily. i really need it a lot.

Hey xannebull! I'm sure your kids keep you very busy. How many kids do you have, btw? You might have told me. I just don't remember.
I used to go to a gym everyday. However, my membership ran out and they went up on their membership. I couldn't afford it so I just exercise at home. Exercising with other people is fun. Some people feel more motivated to exercise if they do it with other people. I don't have any problem exercising alone, though.
I'm going to drill team practice in the morning out at the therapeutic riding center where I volunteer. Believe it or not, horseback riding is good exercise. Kathy.

I try to exercise as much as possible depending on my job. If i am able to leave office earlier, then I'll go gym to do some workout. I try to make it a habit to go gym at least 4 days a week including weekend. Sometimes in the weekend, i also go jogging at then garden rather than doing cardio in the gym the whole week.
