This was never my hobby til a colleague shared that she's fond of doing this. At first, I found it to be nosy. I thought she has an insecurity issues so she's trying to scrutinize another and highlight the flaws. But, well, as I went on with my life, I realized that it can sometimes be inevitable. Like when you're waiting for your friend to arrive at your meeting place ...say, coffee shop... and it's taking him very long. So many people pass by and you can't help but notice some funny things people do or some traits they have that are too bizarre. It's never a nice hobby to people watch as it can make one judgmental but it will happen to everyone of us at least a few times in our lives. It's wise to keep ourselves busy. *wink*

Back in college, people watching is a hobby. lol! At least for us boys at the bench, especially on Fridays. It's where i realized that i got a crush on someone i've been observing for days. Until the time i decided on wooing her. It was difficult at first because she's the boyish type and would play it rough on me. We graduated together in college. After 7 years, we had a chat on Yahoo Messenger then decided to meet since i was also in Manila that time. She not the one i saw in college. She's a lot better. She's a girly not and a lot more matured. We spent the day like we were long time friends. Maybe she's got issues that's why she just won't accept any boyfriends but that won't stop me at least for now. All that because of people watching.

Yes, I admit I do people watch. I usually do this if I am waiting for someone somewhere. When I was in college, I used to sit with my girlfriends on a bench where many people pass by and just look at what the people are wearing. We found this people watching funny because in a space of a few minutes, we saw a lot of girls wearing the same kind of shoes, clothes, or bag. We also just commented on the guys's looks, if he is cute, so-so, or totally not. We don't really try to be mean. Sometimes, people watching is really interesting and fun.

My husband and I play a harmless little game. When we are out and about, one of us will look at someone and say to the other, 'Who does he/she remind you of?' Usually, we agree on the person in question, who may be someone famous or just an acquaintance of ours. More often than not, the resemblance is superficial, but I think it shows that our thought processes work along the same lines, which is comforting. I think everyone people watches to a certain extent, because humans are naturally curious. Unless you develop an unhealthy fixation for someone, I don't think it's a problem.

There's no better way to have a past time doing so in a crowded alley with all those people walking. I also enjoy seeing such things during my free time and might be when I'll be back in the city for college after work. I just got into a hobby of photography and trying it out to the active environment where there are so many walking along.

I have always enjoyed people watching. Especially at large places with all different kinds of people like airports and malls. It's amazing the things you see people do. I would not say that it's not nice to people watch. I personally don't judge people when I people watch. Of course I might think, "oh that guy looks like a nerd" but I don't really think he is. Anyways, people watching is a good way for me to get some laughs in for the day. Just the stupid things people do and surprisingly some things that I can relate to doing myself. I wouldn't mind if someone was watching me for fun so I don't take people watching as a bad thing.:)
