How long have you been here?

Hi becnh83, and thank you for your response in this discussion. I hope you will be able to find time here on myLot to reach payout a lot sooner than by the end of the year. But if that is it, then so be it. At least you are finding some time to come here. I think for a lot of people, it is not about the money. Just somewhere to come and visit when they feel like it, and some time to chat with friends or seek out information. Thanks again and good evening!

Thanks cbeee3. Four years, that's great. I think that joining a site and continuing to be a member are two different things. I think a lot of people have been members are really popular sites like mySpace for a long time. For me, the only sites I have been a member of for a number of years are income earning. My goal when I first signed up for the internet was to make enough money to pay for the cost of internet service. Now, my goal is to one day have a large portion of my income coming from the internet. I really enjoy computers and the freedom that is involved in working for yourself. Have a great day!

Yes, you have been on my Friends List for quite a long time. I always recognize your screen name when I see it. I have continued to do a number of the paid earnings programs. The main ones that I have cut out are the ones that pay less than half a cent for emails read. I had to cut back, because I started to do a few other things that were paying more, so I dropped the lower paying sites. I think that was probably about the same time we met that I dropped those. That is great that you have found other ways to stay home and make money. I would just love to remain at home and not have to find another job. I thought I was going to be able to there for a while, but one of the sites I was working for has dropped their pay 3 times in the last 8 months. But I keep looking, and hopefully one of this days I will have significant income. Hopefully mostly from residuals for writing, then I can take more time off. I have about 275 friends here on myLot, and amongst them I am sure there are several from other countries. I have learned a lot from other members here. And sometimes, it is good if you just want to find out something to search the discussions. There is usually something on about every topic. I am sure if you stay consistent on this site you will have no trouble reaching payout. I wished I had friends that were more involved in earning money online. Some of them have no clue how easy it is. I especially don't like it when they complain about money when they won't even come to my web site and take a look at all of the different ways there are to earn money online. I am not sure of the exact date that I joined, because on my profile it just states member for 3 years. So, it could be just exactly 3 years, or it could be 3 years 11 months and 29 days. In the meantime, I have learned that it would take a lot of time and referrals to make the kind of income I need from one site alone. I had an account on mySpace for about a year, I think. The main reason that I joined was to locate a lost loved one. After I did that, it seemed like I was swamped trying to keep up with everyone on there. I had to give it up because it was so time demanding. And I really needed to spend what hours I am online trying to make some extra money. Actually, at the time I don't think I "needed" to spend the time making extra money. I think it just became a hobby of mine. I am always trying to find new and better ways to make money. I like the saying "If you find something that you love to do, you will never work a day in your life." I don't remember who said it, or if those are the exact words. It sounds like you are starting in the right direction. It took me quite a while to find the survey sites that actually paid. But now I have a few of them that I really enjoy. As a matter of fact, one has sent me samples a couple of times through the years, and then they give me a survey to review the product after a certain period of time.
