Hi Tammara, LOL, cereal doesn't taste so nice with water rather than milk deos it. I have had many what I call senior moments like this but at this moment in time I actually cannot think of one so I guess I must be losing it too LOL. I hope you enjoyed the next bowl your poured with milk. Huggles. Ellie :D

You did just have a "senior moment."
Odds are you did not wake rested, you are in a period of extended stress, and if your stress levels do not decrease you will become sick with real symptoms, like canker sores inside your mouth, or a cold sore emerging on you lip, or a cold, even bacterial pneumonia, or a bladder infection.
An Asian saying goes: Before enlightenment one chops wood and carries water. After enlightenment one chops wood and carries water.
Slow down. For me I write several times a day in a journal and have the categories of stresses, positives, and exercise. for myself, I need to return to daily periods of meditation.
Help?

Ahhh. NOW we're getting somewhere. No matter the country the wife blames the husband. Your husband made you do. Flip Wilson used to say, The Devil made me do it.
Does your hubby have horns or is he just ... Help me! I can't erase these words! The Devil did make me post this! Damn him!

Okay, no excuses what were you thinking? (Best Dr. Phil impression that I can do...)
I see you think the hubby is the source of your stress or distress or lack of thought when not paying attention as you distractedly grabbed the water bottle instead of the milk, now how did that happen again? Hmmmm?
Gives Tamara a poke in the ribs... eheheeheeeheee slippery fingers sure, likely cause of the typing errors, you had something on your mind and it wasn't any thing to do with the cereal, but it could have been tied to the serial you were thinking about... Just considering your thoughts were on the male and having slippery fingers makes me wonder??? I know I never amake a teypeo especially when thinking thoughts that are related to what is delivered by mail.
I better stop here before I drag this on forever. In my mind I could run with this as an invitation to explore different alphabetical combination's to engage the mind in thoughts that are only found in a town filled only with pregnant people.
Hmmm? Giggles, and Hugs...
No crying here as no milk was spilled... Just a bunch of soggy flakes... This isn't getting any better is it?

Hi Gary,
Hubby is the main reason for my stress as he always moan and whinge when he has to go to work and I was glad to have got rid of him to give me some peace and quiet but was not thinking of him or the male, only the mail which was to ask me if I wanted to borrow some money, no thanks, nothing important, as for slippery fingers, I just don't know but I am a bit clumsy, no didn't cry over any spilt milk cause I didn't spill any as for typo, here I am trying to be careful, don't know about Dr. Phil, I haven't watched him for a long time, so poke, poke back to you and I could go on too but I won't as my fingers might start slipping again, thanks for a laugh.

lol usually if my mind is preoccupied I do things twice or three times. A few days ago I was busy with laundry, answering phone for hubby because he just got new temp full time job. I went looking for my cat, 4 times at least checking every corners in the house and didn't find her. hubby came home and as soon as he opened the door, I saw my cat lol she was just behind the door all this time I don't know how I missed it. She isn't a kitten anymore, big enough for me to notice any other day.

Hi LittleMel,
Cats have a way of hiding from you when you called them too, I once was looking for my cat and he was gone nearly all day, normally when you shake his cat food box he'll come running but thos time there was no sign of he, I was pretty worried so when my hubby came home i told him I was worried about Tom my cat, I have not seen him all day, then my hubby went into the kitchen and he called me, there he was perched up on top of my cabinate and didn't want to be bothered, till he got hungry and came down. Thanks for your comments.

How horrible right mushy I expect. My friend and myself have contests about losing the plot, she asks me whats going on and I tell her how do you expect me to know.Confused and muddled thats how we lead our lives. The others say we are made for each other. All we know is she makes the coffee and I make the tea.We spend hours deciding what we are having for lunch over the phone ,then when she gets here I make something different, and you think your bad.

Hi suzzy,
hey! thats what makes life woderful, we all make mistakes in silly little things that we can laugh at and then we make exscuses for our age, that is fun, lol, thanks for responding.

Hi dlr297,
Oooh!! that is really horrible, I once fried sausages with lime juice because I put the oil in the fridge and left the lime juice bottle where the oil should have been, hence sausages cooked with lime juice, taste awful, lol! thanks for your coments.

I don't usually eat cornflakes, as I am allergic to milk , so perhaps I should try it with water instead - how good does it taste? The only cereal I can is is Weetabix or Oatabix because I can spread butter on it, I did try that with cornflakes once -Oh Crumbs!! never again; took me hours just to put the butter on, as they all disintegrated.
Actually, taking cornflakes with milk doesn't really bother me but the spontaneous projectile vomiting seems to upset everyone else, Can't understand why.

That sounds nice but I wouldn't put water and milk in it, just milk and don't like it hot.

Hi Tamara, I think you drink so much water that you just did it automatically...yet the there is one thing I have done just last year. I make coffee in a cafetiere and one day the ground coffee ran out of the pot so I got a new one out to refill the pot, instead of putting the coffee in the pot I poured it all into the cafetiere!...Brilliant how I retrieved most of it I don't know but somehow did!! Hugs LoLo xxx

Oh yes, how do I relate to this. Even when this happen you have to laugh at yourself. I caught myself the other day. I had an arm full of dirty clothes. I was taking them to the dirty clothe hamper and found myself going straight to the trash can. I laughed at myself when I realize what I was doing. I wonder am I loosing it or just getting old.

i think cereal with water is better than cereal with orange juice. i did this one time, unaware of what i was doing. sometimes i forget i put something on the stove, and one time i 'watered' my favorite plant with Coke. one classic silly thing i've done several times - left my mobile phone and umbrella in the cab. two or three times they were returned by the driver, the others were not honest enough.

Hi Tamara,
I do not function correctly until I have my first cup of coffee in the morning and when I'm tired & haven't had much rest. Sometimes when I'm tired & I go into the kitchen to get some water for me to drink & my son also wants something to drink at the same time, then I accidentally pour my son's milk in my cup and pour water in his cup . I have even done the water in cereal before also, but in my son's cereal..LOL..

Could have been much worse Tamara. You could have poured water into your cornflakes and have them combust inexplicably. Really... ;p
I'm having trouble recalling a slip moment. Well, maybe I'll use that fact as the slip moment. Can't even remember something so simple.

I have done things like that before. Its because are mind is on so much stuff. We are thing and have a lot on our mind witch can make you forget what you was doing in the first place. I have stuck things in the fridge that shouldn't have been pit in there. Like a box of noodles when they should be put on the shelf.

Hi strawberrybaby39,
I think because we do multi-tasking that our minds are overworking that we attend to do silly things sometimes, I once put a bottle of cooking in the fridge and a bottle of lemonade on the shelf where the iol should have been and ended up frying susages with the Lemomade, lol!!! thanks for responding.

lol lemonade in your sausage. I have put bottles of oil in the fridge before without thinking. Then later think why in the world did I put that in here for. I use to do that a lot. Sometimes I still do. My mom has done the same things we have done. She asked me if she was losing it lol. I told her know I have done that before.

Yes, i lose the plot a lot!
I once polished my front room, and thought it smelled horrid, then when i checked the can, it was fly spray, i had sprayed all my furniture with it.
I have also put my furniture polish in the fridge, as it stands next to my cleaning cupboard.
I do all sorts of stupid things :)
