Susan Boyle

Have you heard Susan Boyle the lady from Scotland who sang so beautifully on the English version of a Talent show? She was wonderful! I guess when she took second place she must have had a breakdown. She was taken to the hospital for rest. She has a beautiful voice and I hope that she will at least come out with a CD. It would be a crime to let a voice like that go down the tube. I have heard that she wants to sing for the Queen and I hope that dream comes true for her. What did you think of her? Do you think she should continue to sing? Would you buy a CD if she came out with one?

She has the prettiest voice I have ever heard in a long time. I never thought that when she first stepped out on the stage during the show, that she could sing worth beans, but she sure did prove me wrong. I think she proved the judges wrong too, especially Pierce Morgan. He is always so critical of people, and I thought for sure he was going to be critical of her, but I was amazed when he really gave her a yes. I think Susan was sruprised too. She should be happy that she got second place, but it would have been nice if she had got first place. It must have affected Susan too. I hope that she continues to sing and does make a cd as I would certainly buy one. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

She fooled everyone! Goes to show that you can't go by how a person looks. She has a wonderful talent and I hope that she puts it to good use!

Susan Boyle not only has a beautiful voice but she has a wonderful stage presence. You don't see this very often but she can be one way when not singing and then when she begins to sing the whole mood of the room changes and I find myself lost in the song that she is singing. Most of what I have read is that it was very hard for her to have to deal with the press. I think she was actually relieved to have taken second place. I would love to buy a CD of her's and I can't imagine that the Queen herself would not request to see her personally and also request Susan to sing for her. How grand that would be.

It would be grand if she would get to see the Queen personally. I agree that the whole mood of everyone changes as soon as Susan starts singing. Its too bad that it has been so hard for her as far as the press hounding her. It does prove that she is very popular though. Her reaction when they announced who got first was genuine and I applaud her for that and for not pouting when she didn't place first.

guess none of the reports that she was born with learning disabilities, has a (previously existing) mental illness and has been mostly yet another victim of/exploited by the tallent show/fame system, have reached the US yet.

I did hear something about that, but just because she had learning disabilities doesn't mean she can't sing! I don't think she has been exploited. She is just very talented!

i had heard her singing and she really has an incredible voice... i am a bit amazed that she doesn't win the show as i think she should... anyway, it will be nice if she gets her wishes to sing for the queen and if she produces a CD, i might think of buying it as well as her voice is really beautiful... take care and have a nice day...

Yes, I know of Susan Boyle. I love her voice. She sings like an angel. I wonder why she didn't became famous before when she was still young. But now atleast her talent is already appreciated by people. I think singing in front of the queen will be a good idea and the queen will definitely love to hear her sings. And she should record more songs now and release an album. I think I will be buying it.

From what I understand she took care of her parents over the years and now that they are gone has the time to do what she wants. I'm glad that she was able to show her wonderful talent!

even though she came in second, i am sure because of all the publicity she has experienced, she will be able to get work or some sort of record deal. hopefully her life will make her happy.

I think even if she did win she's have needed to go to hospital anyway, the media attention it got was unprecedented and shocked even the programme makers. She is so well known now I'm sure they will make a CD of her and she will get to sing in the Royal Variety Performance (where she will sing for the Queen). She does have a beautiful voice, and the fact she has been so successful proves you don't have to be great looking to be successful if you have talent.

I saw that story the other day. I thought that it wasn't something that should have been publicized. Many people are going to think badly of her now, and really she was admirable for going to the clinic by herself, knowing she needed rest. I hope she gets rested up and does come out with some sort of c.d., and hopefully her dream will come true. I'm sure that that would be very honorable to sing infront of any kind of famous person.

Once you become popular everything you do is publicized. I don't agree with it, but its the way of the world. I guess thats how papers and tabloids make money. I do hope that everything works out for Susan and wish her the best.

Diversity may have won the battle, but Susan will win the war. Their dancing is a 5 minute wonder; her voice will be with her for life. The one thing that 'Britain's Got Talent' has made clear is that basically, Britain has NOT got much talent. Susan Boyle is an ordinary woman with an extraordinary talent. She will endure, and she will sing for the Queen. She's not in the Priory because she's a diva; she's in the Priory because she isn't a diva and this whole media circus has been a complete shock to her system. She'll emerge from the Priory ready to rock, and she'll continue to take the world by storm with her fantastic voice and personality.

Yes she should continue to sing. I think it is a shame that it took the world so long to discover her talent. I think she will achieve what she wants as a professional singer. I just wish the press would lay off some and let her just be who she is.

I was very impressed with Susan's talent and personality and hope her dream of singing for the queen comes true. about her breakdown, i believe she was overwhelmed but her fast rise to fame. Hopefully she will be better soon and able to continue her singing career, her voice really is a gift.

I think that it would be hard for anyone to become famous practically overnight. I would probably be cussing out the press (like she did) and then have a breakdown as well. I agree with you that her voice is a gift and I hope that she gets to use it to her advantage.
