I don't think you would be allowed to as it is electric and would get damp and blow up not a nice thought while you are watching your favourite programme.

I think it is a little too much to have a TV in bathroom. I don't want to spend a lot of time in bath room. Already I take a lot of time to take bath and other stuff and I want to cut down on the time. If I have a TV there it will get extended. So, I will say 'No'.

I feel the same as you, I like it nice in quite in the bathroom its more relaxing that way, and like you said if theres a TV in there I might never leave the bathroom, so no TV in the bathroom for me ether.

Don't temp me LOL. I may never come out if there. I could seriously probably spend some real time in there if I had a television, I could play it off like I was going to the restroom and no one should come yet all I am really doing is sitting in there watching television. My husband spends enough if his time in their and all he has is a magazine with some old magazines in there, I could ony imagine if he had a television in there.

I would feel like having a t.v. in the bathroom would be excessive from any point of view. I think that having one tv in the house is enough, and that Americans need to get outside and exercise more. For one thing, electrical hazard is posed by keeping electronics near water, but for the other thing I would have to ask why some peace and quiet in the bathroom would be a bad thing? I like to get outside and away from the tv whenever I can. I would say that at most a radio would be enough.

I was thinking how cool it would be when I become super rich, and get to flaunt my tv in the bathroom, especially for adult playtime, or some cute movies when you give your kids a bubble bath. I was picturing the retractable kind so it would not always be out. Then I remembered how sedentary everyone is, just like you mentioned. We don't all need to sit around the boob tube/idiot box when we can go hiking or read a book. We are all a bunch of fat over-indulgent illiterates. (lol) But then again, imagine sipping champagne, eating carob coated strawberries in your whirlpool tub, watching your wedding video, or celebrity apprentice. Talk about luxury. AhhhH! I am so torn. 70% in favour of it, if you lead an active life, and if you make sure to read daily.

I think that having a tv in the bathroom is just too much. I don't watch much tv anyway. I can only imagine if I had a tv in the bathroom that my daughter might spend more time in there and I'd be on the outside dying to get in. When all the kids were home, it was hard enough getting in the bathroom....I can only imagine a tv would make that situation worse. Why would anyone want more time in the bathroom of all places?

I would also love to have one in my kitchen cause I am a news junky, and I am always in the kitchen doing something so it would be cool to have one in there.

I don't think I would like to have television in my bathroom too because when I'm in the shower room, I just like to relax, take a nice and warm shower. I don't think I will really watch the television anyway when I'm in the shower.

I actually had one in my bathroom of my hotel room when i was out in Las Vegas a year ago. It was set into the big vanity mirror. When it was off, you really couldn't even notice that it was there. I only put it on 2 times. Once when i had decided to soak in the tub and the other was the morning that I was getting ready to go, to keep track of the time. Other than that, it really didn't thrill me too much and actually verges on the wasteful side. I'd much rather just have a radio in the bathroom.

I wouldn't want a tv in the bathroom. The bathroom is the only place I can hope to "get away" since I'm a mom. Trust me when I say I can't even go to the bathroom in peace. I wouldn't want a tv for two reasons. One - I want to get away from it all. Two - I would watch tv and not want to leave the bathroom. HAHAHA.

I guess having a tv in the bathroom sounds like great fun! Infact, you can just enjoy in the hot water in your bath tub with a nice drink while watching your favourite program. I know this is getting a bit bizarre!!

TV in bathroom? That does not seem to be a good idea. Only those people who are addicted to TV can put a TV in bathroom. I watch very less TV so in my case the question of having TV in the bathroom does not arise .

apples99, having a tv in the bathroom sounds really to much. And what I think of is the safty. TV set are electricity and it is not god arond water. It do sounds to dangerous. And Tv is for livingrooms only, not kitchen, bathrooms I can consider a TV in the bedroom. But It is also to much I think. some things should not be overdoed.

I actually wouldn't mind having a television in the bathroom lol. It would be a little bit starneg and it would get hardly any use, but, I'd really like to enjoy sitting down in a lovley hot bubbly bath and enjoying watching a film or even my favourite television programmes.
