When does your school year end?

Wow! That's late! It seems that I remember you saying that you had a lot of snow days this year. Could that be part of the reason for school ending when it is? My kids will be out on June 10th which is a bit later than usual too. They are getting so antsy. It's really hard to get them into bed on time when they just want to be outside right now. Patience, patience........:)

Today is our school's last full day of school. Tomorrow they go for an hour. I'm not sure why they do it like that. My daughter doesn't have to go for the hour though since she is in kindergarten. So today is her last day. She goes till lunch time then they are busing them out to their graduation. I can't believe she graduates kindergarten today!

Yes its coming to that time again, I do love this time of year when the holidays are approaching, six weeks of just being able to do what we want and not having to be up and down to school all the time. Our holidays begin towards the end of July and then they go back in September so still a few weeks off yet.

Hi Katsmeow, My kids already started their mid term holiday for 2 weeks only from 30th May - 14th June after finishing their mid year exam. In my country (M'sia) we don't have a summer holiday - we have summer everyday hehehehehehehe....it's a hot and humid country. Normally school breaks from mid November until early week of January before they starts new term. I keep counting when the school start back since now I'm half crazy already with all 4 terror at home!!

My school year ends next week monday. Hoorah! It starts back up the beginning of August. It is just enough time to want to go back.

My oldest daughter is out of school already. Both my girls will be going to school in August. I will be joining them in continuing my online schooling the same month on top of working, taking care of them and taking care of my home.

My son's last day of school for this year was May 24th, so he has been out for over a week already. They go back towards the middle of August. Our temps have been all over the board here lately. Yesterday and today it has been in the 60-70 range, but earlier this week it was in the 90's.

My children got out of school the last Friday of May and they usuaully start the last week of August. It is still pretty chilly here as well, it was 44 last night. I had to bring my 2 turkeys in the house last night because I wasn't sure if they would freeze LOL.

My kids are out of school already..well, today was their first day of summer vacation. They are actually outside, in the backyard playing in the hose. I don't know the exact date of when they go back but I think it is the 3rd week of August. We never really know for sure the actual date of the first day back to school because periodically it gets changed because of the weather. Since hurricane season happens over the summer, there are times when they haven't been able to go back to school because of a possible storm approaching. We get their schedule in the mail around the middle of July and just hope for good weather. A few years ago they were out of school for almost 3 weeks because of a hurricane and the aftermath and clean up. Then that years summer vacation started later and their summer was little shorter to get back on schedule for the following school year. Too much for me to figure out. I just take them when they tell me school is back in.

I am ready for our school year to be over. We go to what is called a year round school July 21 - June 10. We get three weeks off every 9 weeks. It's kind of neat that way. It's unfortunate because there is only one school in the county that does that and it's an elementary school. I think it's a little silly to at least not have the middle and high school on the same schedule.

The kids' last day of school is tomorrow June 5th. They will get out at 11:50 and then won't have to be back till the Monday after Labor Day. They used to have to go back at the end of August but it was stupid because they would go for two days and then be off for three or fours days for the holiday and then have to go back. I am so excited that we only have one more day to go!!!!

The start of school year here in the philippines by the m0nth of june and end by the m0nth of march,becAuse by april it already start the summer here until may..Scho0l year here has a ten m0nth cycle,and it is follow fr0m grade school,high school and college..

It ended today! I'm so happy and relieved! It gonna start at the end of August so better do as much as possible till then:)

My school year ended May 27th... earlier then usual. I also live in Colorado and our schooling adds extra days for snow days, if they are not used within the year then we get out earlier. Last year i believe we got out June 2nd so it varies. We also go back earlier in August like the 22nd or something like that.
