almost all people here are not displaying their real names.that does not exclude me.im flagella here but not in real life.my name has only 3 letters. my reason for using it is that it's my name in my email add and other sites too. it's just that i want something mysterious in me.that will start in the name. how about you?

I prefer using my screen name because it's so much easier and safer to use than actually providing strangers with my real identity. It's also an SOP with online transactions that we keep our personal identities as safe as possible. Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Maybe real name is not that too important here to be used as username. It is only my opinion and because my real name is long to be type when I log in .

my name is too short but i just don't feel like using it,especially now that scammers are everywhere. we can't trust our personal infor to everyone especially the photos.

Well, I don't really like my name so I just prefer people calling me by a nickname. I like and play guitar so that why I picked Guitar Hero I guess.

many people admire others who play guitar.that's an edge to being a member of any group.you will be the one to entertain the group and served as the man of the scene too, i just wish i knew how to play it.it's just hard for me.my fingers won't move.

Thanks. My fingers wouldn't move either when I first started learning. But now I practiced and I got better. Keep practicing and you'll get better :)

Well I think we use names that are different because we might not want people online to find us. To me I think it is like a security thing. I mean we still need to keep ourselfs safe because of id theft and stuff like that. Well I think that is why I do not use my real name. Take care friend and happy mylotting to you as well.

Well, its no fun if the rest of the world knew your name now is it? Having a code name acts as establishing a new identity behind a computer, for my lot even. Its an alias people create so they can be free to write or do whatever they want without actually having to explicitly state their true status. Not only that but a code name can also be seen as a statement of ones personality. It tells a lot about the person using it.

well i like using my codename than my real name, it seems so mushy using my real name. i was used to it since i was still in college, all of my e-mails and other social networking sites uses the codename that is used.

I have had this name as a pet name or a nickname.I think it is a good idea to have a code name as it stop others to identify you if you are on about personal things as that way people who live near you dont know it is you.
