I don't really like to eat fruits especially durian (don't like the smell of durian), although I know that its good for health but I still don't like. But I will still eat apples and water melon once in a while because water melon is juicy and make me not thirsty.

Hi Pingi,
It's summer now. Our body lose more water than usual, so we have to drink more water and eat more fruit to keep the balance! I love fruits, all kinds of furits, unfortunately, the fruits are already more experience than food. I would love to have furits every day! I like apple, banana, melons, so on and so on.

Yeah I've noticed this too. The healthy stuff seems to always be more expensive than the mass produced processed junk. I think this is really unfair, and a complete reversal of how things were. It used to be the healthy stuff was the cheapest and the junk food was luxury. Now if you're on a tight budget you get stuck with complete and utter junk for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And your kids do too. This really has to be changed. You have a whole generation of parents obese and a whole generation of kids quickly following suit. Something really should be done.

Hi Pingi!
Fruits are best for health, therefore, you must take some fruits of yur likings. Oranges are very easy to eat, you just need to peel their skin and then you can have it, only thing is please do not gulp their seeds.......LOL!I love to take fruits daily. Fruits are very essential for our health and digestion system and if we do not take fruits we will be deprived of many essential minerals and vitamins. Fruits are rich source of vitamins. At our place weather and seasons keep changing, therefore, we get the opportunity to eat different varieties of food. Now a days, it is summer season, therefore, we can enjoy, cherry, water-melon, Lichi and above all Mangoes. Mango is my most favourite fruits and it remains available from the month of March to August end. It is the most sweetest of the fruits. Apples at our place become available after the month of September. In winters, we enjoy having apples, oranges and bananas.
Have a great day!

Yes I love fruit so much some don't love me though. What I can eat is oranges, grapefruits, grapes, bananas, strawberrie, rasyberries, blueberries, Watermelons, papaya, mangos. I try to eat at least 2 fruits a day if not three. I love sour fruits such as lemon or limes and I just learned about a fruit in Puerto Rico that is sour but I love it. Its called tamarindo - the spelling might be off but they are good!

Yeah I've gotta say all these things are completely unknown to me too. It's good though you say you can get these in the Philippines, because I'll be going there soon and I'll make sure to put these fruits on my list of stuff to try out.
And I just read your comment again and I'm still amazed at just how many things you listed. Are all these seperate species or are they different varieties of the same thing? (like how you'd have local varieties of banana different from the commercial ones.) I seriously didn't know this much fruit existed.

Hell no. I try and avoid them when I can. I dunno why I don't like them, all I remember is having this aversion to them from a very young age. Vegetables are my thing, as strange as that sounds. Usually it's the other way with people; they hate vegetables and love fruit. Not with me though.
That said, when I do actually have the occasional piece I tend to go for the ones that you mentioned as your faves. I too dislike oranges and lemons (all "tropical" fruits in fact). I don't know why, but it must just be the climate here. It's way too cold for stuff like grapefruit or pineapple, oranges or lemons. I guess the temperature just doesn't lend itself to tangy fruits. I notice this especially when I come back from holidays. I'd have been fine with pineapples and all that on holidays, but then when I come back I can't touch the stuff.
Anyone feel the same way, that your preference seems to be almost "climate-dependent"?
