summer veggie garden

Here is to all of those who have a Veggie garden, I love fresh fruit, my daughter loves going into our garden and picking the tomatoes. I got my first bud of one and my child is talking about how sweet it will be when it ripens. We also have watermelon. YUM is all I can say. Do you have a garden? What do you have in your garden?

We are just planting our garden this weekend. We already have tomatoes going in big containers and I noticed yesterday that we had one bud flowers showing.
Our strawberries, we just planted last year, are covered in flowers and berries. They are still green but in less than 3 weeks we should be stuffing them in our faces.
I remember back when my son was just about 3 or 4. He would go out in our yard, we lived in a different place then, and he would pick and eat all the berries he could find but would always bring me back one. Just one, what a little monkey he was.
I planted corn yesterday. That's the first time I have planted corn since I was a kid on our farm, some 45 or so years ago.
