What do you do to keep fit?

I do one or two 25 minute sessions a day along with Rosemary Conley on a video. Doesn't seem to be enough though. When I did a long walk last week, I got totally puffed on all the steep stretches. I don't expect to be able to keep up with the youngsters, but the friend with me is a year older and didn't seem to have any trouble. What do you do to keep fit?

I do simple yoga techniques by myself at home because i don't have enough time. I also practice breathing techniques which is very useful. Walking or jogging brings pain to my legs so I chose other simple techniques.

You're like me then in exercising at home. Sorry to hear about your painful legs, but you are clearly being sensible about it.

I walk daily, and try to do some other excerice at least three times a week. I used to attend aerobic and yoga classes which were very good, and now I'm thinking about taking a sport, like badminton.

I go to a gym everyday to do exercises and to do my dance class to keep fit. It is always good to keep in touch with health so much because if we have health then we have wealth too so better take the priority into consideration.

Usually, I do broadcasting gymnastics before breakfast in the morning at home. Then I do it again after lunch in the office. in the evening, after dinner, I ofter go for a walk in our housing estate with my wife. Sometimes, usually in rest days, I do some dumbbell exercises. In my opinion, victory belongs to perseverance!

You're right there. If I slip because I get busy or unwell, it's very difficult to get back in the habit again.

Hi Jakill, Well up until recently when I had my dog I would do at least four miles walking a day along the beach whatever the weather but since he has been gone I have become a bit lazy and tend to walk to the school and back twice each day and maybe to the beach or park a bit later. Since Christmas though I also do a 30 minute workout on the Wii Fit andhave lost 11lbs doing that and four back on LOL since I haven't bee walking so much. I don't like it to be too hot so with the recent lovely weather I have in fact been out far less. The hills still haveme puffing though towards the top, although late forties my fit age on the Wii is 28 Huggles. Ellie :D

Wow. That sounds pretty a good fit age for a 40+ year old. I've heard about the Wii. I guess it's worth looking into.

I usually jog in place for 30 minutes, or walk around when at work. Do errands. But I don't get to do this daily. I wish I could, there are so many things to do, like now, I'm multi-tasking, mylotting, blogging and dropping at entrecard and writing....sometimes I prepare for my lecture while exercising...lol...happy mylotting Jean.

Ha. That's another option for me - jogging on the spot. i might find it a bit boring though. You are such a busy woman, Jena.

If you ever need weight loss tips. Ask a bodybuilder. They've done all of this work to build their muscles in the gym and it will all be for nothing if they dont lose the weight( they call it 'shredding') to show it off. They get down to such low weights that they need top medical advice to stay healthy. There is a magazine I subscribe to called Muscular Development. I'm sure there are others out there aswell. But the thing that i found was that they have all tried the diets you see in womans magazines, like the green tea diet the south beach and all of these different diets. Its a good place to look if you want expert knowledge on how to lose weight and stay healthy. I think of it like asking for financial advice. If you asked a millionaire you'd get all kinds of different responses, maybe some of them are lotery winners or just very lucky that things went their way. However if you ask a Billionaire for financial advice you would be guarenteed to get expert advice. No one became a billionaire by accident. These bodybuliders might not have the bodyshape you want, fair enough, it's quite an extraordinary thing to want to do to your body. But you have to admit. They dont have an ounce of fat on them!!
