If you have a family and you know your work will ask to have some business travels during the year do you consider that positevely or negative aspect? which one do you prefer business travel in the local lands or international ones?

of course yes. i am a singer and i travelled already in some few countries at asia becuase of work. it is a tour with pay. lol. it was a great opportunity to travvel and to work at the same time. you can see sites that are cool but still get a chance to work and get payed. to also know few people that you can be friends with. its fun to travel but it more fun to work while travelling for you get the best of both worlds

eheheh!!it sounds your family very comprehensible towards that!!In fact many people who have family don't like it because in many cases their family like mor eyou will turn back home daily and not in some airport around the world..

I think i would welcome such opportunity... especially if i can take my daughter with me in some of that travels... not all the time... but like in two or three... like mixing business with family bonding... there are negative aspects... but i would always consider the positive ones... since i love to travel to different places...

I'm not the kind of person who likes to be too far from home, so a job where I would have to be travelling all the time wouldn't suit me at all. My family is too important for me to be travelling all the time and missing out on being with them and seeing them grow up. My dad travels all the time with his work. He always has done. It has meant, especially when my sisters and I were younger, that my mum has basically been a single mum. He would travel about 2 weeks out of every 4, and when he wasn't travelling, he was just never around for his family, even if he was at home. He still travels 20 years on, and while us kids are grown up now, it is still hard on my mum sometimes as she wants to enjoy being a couple but has to accept that his work comes before anything, or anyone else.

I would love to have job where I could travel a little. I wouldn't like to travel all the time, but to be able to travel some would be fun. It would give me experiences I haven't had before!

I am only 22 and at this time I would like a job where I could travel because I don't have any commitment to anyone or a family or anything. So it would give me a chance to see new things and learn new business affairs as well. I don't think I could do business travel if I had a family because I don't think it would be fair to them. I would only do it like if I was getting paid very very very well.

it think your personal condition will be much better deals with this kind of purposes!! Normally young and single people like jobs like that and even they can have much good experienced and improve their work level as well... surely if you will have a family it will be sometimes boring for you and family because needs and priority changes towards that one of your family as well!!

I would like a job in which I could travel. If there was too much traveling involved that would not be good either though. When one travels for business, you usually are not permitted to take your significant other, the person you want to share these places with, with you. Also people who travel for business rarely get to go see the sites and take in the city before they are back on a plane bound for some where else.

Not anymore, tonyllenium; I use to travel a lot but am very happy to be living a stationary life. Moving constantly is rough on the body.

I would prefer jobs that would give me the possibility to travel.Partly because I love to travel around and traveling is very interesting as I would discover more about other people's culture and their way of living.I am a nature person and I just love visiting new places of nature and take photos of it as photography is my hobby.Being able to travel and work will be a great advantage to me and it would be good as it reduces the stress level while working.

I have never had a job where I had the chance to travel a lot, but I would love to work somewhere where international business travels was a part of the job. Some years ago I was working as a kind of nurse, and I spent a lot of time on transportation, because it was my job to visit patients in their homes. I had a few visits in the countryside, but aside from that I was only working in my local area, and it could have been interesting to travel a bit more. A job with a lot of travels would definately appeal to me.

When I was single I was eager to travel for business. But I didn't got any opportunity. My work needn't go out. Now I've had my family. I don't want to travel any more. But I'm changing my job and my new job has a lot of possibility of travelling. Maybe it's just life. What I can do is only accepting it.

My greatest achievement in life was travelling for free in various known cities in the Philippines. I have achieved it because I joined in the Supreme Student Government wherein I run as a Representative of our course, the BSStatistics. Actually one of the major reason why I joined in that polical activities, is to travel in Philippines for free. It has been the sole passport of every student to go to Baguio, Davao, Tagaytay and the rest of the country without thinking of your financial obligations, because you will be given budget by the university. But I think it was just a reward for all student leaders in order for us to work hard and to serve our fellow students. Again, we travelled for free...

Because I am single, I wouldn't find it very hard to leave the country for work compared to those who have families already. :) since I am in the stage of knowing myself and exploring possibilities of growth, I would love to travel for work! But I don't really see myself working in other countries forever, probably a few months would do.

Hi tonyllenium... My current job actually gives that option and I try to grab the opportunity to travel whenever possible. I love travelling and have been to the farthest corners of my country because of my job. Come to think of it, that was one of the questions they asked me when I first applied. I gave them a yes definitely. Teehee. I mean you get to do your job plus you get to travel for free.

Yes I would really like that. For all these years at the workplace I have worked in 4 companies now for the past 5 years or so.Though I did sense some opportunities earlier that promised travel I didn't pursue those chances very aggressively. But now I feel that it is time for me to experience some travel as well. And I am joining a new firm in a week.I believe that I would get the opporunity to travel as part of my job here. That wold be fun as well as a good learning experience.Though I have a family I do have their support as well and they would be only happy if such a chance crops up.

I think I wouldn't mind to take the job that has the opportunity to travel as long as it is not a permanent stay at a different country, if thre are conferences or something like that once or twice a month is fine. I think it is good though because we can have this chance to put in effort at work and see more in the world. Besides that, it is free :-p

I have a job that gives me the chance to travel abroad. Thanks to my job I was in the US for 2 whole years. It was a blast! I worked hard and partied harder. But coming back to my country was tough and I had to put up a fight. This is because, once you have established good relations with your clients, they and your own company does not want you to go back. But I fought and got home. :) So I would have to say, travelling for business, once in a while is fun. But there should be flexibility. Family is the most important thing for me in life. Nothing else comes first. God bless! :)
