I hear alot of people freely giving out their opinions of the new president, both good and bad, and I am wondering what you think?
How do you think he has done with dealing with certain areas (such as the economy, Gitmo, the war, dealing with other countries) and how do you think he has done as a whole? Would you give him an A,B,C,D or F?

Well I have not seen much improvement as he started his presidency with a flu in the economy. I guess he needed to do a lot of rethinking on many issues that hound him. I am impressed how he is taking his relations with the Muslim world. I just hope he is sincere about it. Although having a Muslim heritage might also indicate to make it right for his family and eventually the whole nation. I cannot say much about him there is not much controversy and the White House is pretty much silent about how things are running over there. If I would grade him i would give him a B since there is not much developments on how much changes he had made in the past several months he is seating.

Wow.... I admire the B grade, but you don't sound very impressed... He has been working at a tremenedous rate I think, and although progress is slow, what do people expect, an overnight fix? That is not realistic. I agree that he is not perfect, but I think he has great potential.

That is a standpoint from afar. I am not an American that why seeing him from afar I do say he is doing good that is why I gave him a "B" well I am not saying that he needs a quick fix on things but he has way long years ahead before the final judgment on his performance really comes. There is a lot more space for him to improve on things to come.

I would give him a nice F, because he is running this country into the ground with his newly implemented economic policies. His 1.8 trillion dollar deficit is more than 4 times larger than the RECORD BREAKING ALL TIME HIGH deficit that Bush had last year, that everyone was up in arms about, but Obama quadruples it and it is all okay? The national debt was only at 6 or 7 trillion for the history of the United States so in one year he is going to increase it by 1/3. And then he has the nerve to say by the end of his presidency he is going to cut the deficit in half, well when you start with the deficit of 2 trillions when he cuts it down to 1 trillion in 4 years that will still be larger than the deficit of the all time high deficit of the Bush administration in 2009. His economic plans have "stimulated" job growth so much that 1.8 million people have lost their jobs in the 5 months he had been in office and the unemployment rate is 2% higher than Obama said it would be under his plan. The problem is only going to get worse.

wow... i wonder where you get your information from... the deficit has not been quadrupled. ALthough it has went up some. and there has been a slow down in job losses since he became the president... i can see that you are one of those people who thought he should be able to fix the mistakes of the past overnight.... it took longer than 5m onths to make the problems it will definetly take longer than 5 months to fix them... our country has still been kept safe, and the housin market has bottomed out and job losses have been cut way back..... it is impossible to correctly predict the economy.... but he is doing his best at putting this country's best foot forward and at trying to introduce himself to foreign countries and to make peace where there was no peace to be made before... he is not as arrogant as Bush (or any other Republican for that matter) and the world sems to accept him better because of this.... it gives them one less reason to hate America..... give him time... you probably never even decided to give him a chance in the first place..... it is actually way to soon to judge this harshly..

I think I would give him B. Because all I can see is his talking. He is a really a big thinking talk, and I do want to see the results of his action and talks too. I feel there will be a lot of positive outcome from his leadership. I like his intention to stop the war in Iraq. Almost everyone can be relieve by it and his effort to make peace and have more understanding about Muslim community. Its a good thing. Make peace not hate.
If all his effort have positive impact then he definitely deserve the A. lol.

I myself think he should receive an A.... I think he is doing a fabulous job considering all the things he walked into. That is alot of pressure and I think he is doing a tremendous job at handling things. I agree that he is a positive leader that brings hope to our country and the world in this dark hour. I was a proud Obama supporter, and continue to be.
