Hi,
I too never use to like my name. It is not at all unique. I wanted a name which will be new and innovative. In each and every class there was someone with the same name. If i get a chance i would change. I may considering changing may be after my marriage.
Have a nice day.

I used to really dislike my name. However, I've just learned to deal with it. I don't have a very popular name, so I guess that's good. I knew a lot of people in school and work who'd get irritated because multiple people had the same names.

I like my real name and I think that is the name that is chosen by my parents, and so I think that we have to keep with us always...
The fact is that the 90% of the persons that I know call me with my nickname and I almost accustomed to it, even if in the first period I hate it!!!

I like my first name, it's common. Well actually for my culture it's not but for the spanish culture it is - so it gives me edge? lol sometimes people call me by my middle name which is Indian. I hated it when I was younger but Ive grown to like it a lot.

my mother had an affair while still retaining the last name of her husband and then I was born so instead of receiving my mother's maiden name or my father's last name, I received my mother's ex husband's last name..... I have never felt any real connection with this last name and have considered changing it to something else just so that I would have some connection with it... even if it is just something I made up.

I don't like my name either. I don't ask my friends to call me nicknames but they do and I don't mind. I think I would change it but I have no idea what I would change it to. Happy Mylotting
