Do you drink water when you take pills?

I always take my pills with lots of water now. I always used to just dry swallow them if I didn't have anything to drink close by but I learned my lesson doing that. I took an antibiotic and if must have dissolved in my throat and actually burned it. It felt like I had something stuck in my throat for days!

I usually take pills with water or milk, otherwiswe I would not manage to swollow them. Somewhere I have read that you shouldn't take pills with soft drinks, since you might create some chemical reaction, so I wouldn't dare taking pills with soft drinks.

I have always taken my pills with water. It has never been anything else. I like drinking my juice but it's always water when it comes to pills. I love my water. I drink at least three 8oz glasses of water a day.

I always have some water when I take my pills, mostly because it just helps me swallow them easier. Now that I know that it helps my kidney I'll make sure not to forget to do it. My kidneys are pretty important to me so I guess I should drink more water with my pills.

pills r bitter in taste so definitely I drink water

i dont know how, but my hubby can take pills without drinking anything! for that is impossible to do. i also do try to drink alot every day but it is something that i have to force myself to do!

I do too. I can not take it without the help of water. But i love to chew first the tablets or capsules i am taking before drinking water. I just want to taste the pills how it taste so in the next time i will not chew again. I do not drink water if i am taking chewable tablets or capsules right away. I wait that it melts and nothing left, and afterward i will drink.
