Did you know that you can respond to other people's responses as well in a given topic..that is beyond the one who created the topic..that is what gives the discussion value..
Try it sometimes and tell me what happens;)+

Yes and I use that a lot on here. Sometimes when a discussion has a lot of responses, it makes no sense to comment on the end to something that someone else has already said. If someone has already answered in the same way I was going to and I want to add something to it, I respond to their response. I also give + (and sometimes -) ratings to people who comment on the post I'm reading, not only to those who comment on my discussions.

That is very noble of you ..you are a very good mylot member..selflessness never goes unrewarded..some people however are in here for themselves..and that can be seen by what thy do with regard to discussions;+

Yes I saw that when I first logged in here yesterday that it was possible to reply to others than just the asker. I have used that on here.
Isasice introduced me to this website yesterday so I'm still quite new her but she's been sharing her experience so hopefully I won't make all the beginners mistakes many members seem to make here.

thanks for the information. from now on, I will try to respond to responses of other Mylot member if their response is similar/part of what I want to say.And I never know that I can give a + or - to a response on other members' discussion. you have enlighten me ,thanks !

Yes, it is a feature that I have used a few times.
It is a very useful feature here because it means that if someone makes an interesting point along the way then you are able to respond to that particular aspect of the discussion rather than the overall subject. This is definitely one of Mylot's better ideas.
