I've been wanting a Wii since they came out - I'm a video game addict sometimes (especially Nintendo). And I've heard terrific things about the WiiFit. So, we bought it tonight. We actually got $75 off because I had some gift cards, but it's still pretty expensive. I'm going to set it up tomorrow and get started with it. I'm very excited! Anyone have good or bad experiences with the WiiFit?

That's just great. I, like you have wanted one since they came out. I just do not have the money to spend on one. How did you get the coupons? Maybe that would help some of us be able to get one. I mean $75. is a lot to be taken off. Have fun with your wii.

I've wanted one too - but until recently for just the games. With the Wii Fit though I really wanted that bad. Back in January when we bought our washer/dryer and fridge they had a promo going on and we had 2 $23 gift cards from that. And a few weeks ago, someone threw a $25 American Express gift card in my car so I used that too. I love free stuff!!!

Yeah, I figured out what happened when I tried to use it the first time. My purchase was over $25 and the guy tried to put the whole thing on there, not just the $25. I'm so glad it worked!

Oh, that is wonderful. You finally got that card to work eh...that's so nice. I guess I'll just have to keep looking for ways to get it for less, lol. I want the wii fit too. That's what I want. Thank you for the info, I do appreciate it.

I've had the Wii Fit for about 2 weeks now. It's extremely expensive, but we got it at $20 off because we bought it used, so we couldn't pass that up since I've been dying to have it since it came out. I think it's a really good workout to tone your muscles. I've also got the Wii game 'My Fitness Coach' and between using the two of those every day, I get a great workout! Wii Fit is mostly aimed at improving your posture, which I guess is a good thing, but it's great for toning and balance, too. My balance has improved immensely since I started it and it's only been two weeks (though I will admit that my balance was terrible to begin with).

Oh ok, I know some people who live in rural areas that the only way they can get it is through ebay, one of my family actually paid $200 for the wii fit because her daughter wanted it so bad, the parents are both doctors so they can afford it but still....I said YIKES....i paid about $90 for mine at Gamestop

Congrats on getting a Wii. We have had ours for about 2 years and love it. We don't have the wii fit yet thought. I am hoping to be able to buy it soon.

yeah the step aerobics is the one thing that I don't like about the wii fit game, step aerobics steps are not supposed to be so wide, they are higher up but you dont have to step so far apart while looking at a screen, it can be dangerous I think and thats why i don't do it on the wii fit because I have twisted my ankles lots of times so even a slight stepping wrong hurts like a mo fo for me, but I agree with you that the wii fit still is wonderful

Sounds like you could play with my sons! I think when I buy more games it'll be along the Mario level! Actually, if Wii has a Link or Zelda, I'm so buying it! My sister will be so jealous!

They do have a "Legend Of Zelda:Twillight Princess"...its an awesome game and a lot of fun, if you get the Wii Zapper, that comes with a game thats called "Links Cross Bow Training", its not that complicted, its a shooting targets game with some shooting bad guys, and it has points given so it can be a lot of competetive fun

We bought the WiiFit a little over a month ago, and I have used it every single day. The games are fun and you can actually get a good workout from it. I have had a Wii for a long time and I haven't had any bad experiences with the Wii or the WiiFit.

I got a Wii during christmas time and I have had a blast with that, if you have kids some great games are the Mario games, and Animal Crossing is also a fun one that I have....I got the wii fit a couple of monthes ago and it is really great, it has helped me be more fit, it gives you what your BMI is which is a lot better than just a scale plus all of the exercises are super helpful too, kids will like the balance games and the Hula Hoop exercise

I do have one "kid" still living at home and he was pretty excited when he saw it. He's planning on getting, I think it's called Tiger Woods Golf??? He's actually been bugging me for a Wii for a while now - since his father got one I think. My son's 25, but I know we'll still be getting the kids games because we always bought the Nintendo's and played them when they were little. I'm going to finish hooking up the Wii Fit today - here in a few minutes. And I did find the Zelda game shortly after posting that last reply. I'm VERY excited about getting it, but I need to find some more money first!

Well, with all the rain we had here in the last week or so, I didn't get out much. I'm going to do the Wii at night, and still walk in the morning. But if it's nasty outside I'll be able to do the Wii in the morning too!

That's a good idea. I've been kinda lazy today to be honest. It rained and i enjoyed sitting and watching it rain but wasnt really inclined to even use my elliptical trainer tonight. My sister was over playing golf on the wii this evening.

I liked it this morning when it's raining, I can still get a workout. I didn't care much for the eliptical and we recently traded it with my in-laws for a treadmill (which I don't like AT ALL). If I'm going to work out in the house, I want it to be fun!
