Cordilleran Traditional Food

Traditional of the Mountain Province in the Philip - This picture shows one of our traditional food that is found in the northern part of the Philippines called "Mountain Province" or "Cordillera Region." We call this "etag" which is a preserved meat (pork) through salt. It is very yummy! The taste is really out of this world. Why not try?^^

One of the best traditional food of the Cordilleras here in my country, Philippines is called 'Etag'. It is preserved pork through salt. Whenever we cook 'pinikpikan,' we add 'etag' like natural spice. Other than 'pinikpikan,' we can also add 'etag' with sauteed vegetables or any kind of cooking. What about you? What traditional food do you have that you are proudest of friends?
