And where is it from? Can you provide a sample or a copy of it so we can enrich our minds?
My personal favourite would have to be "Negai" from Season one of Ah! My Goddess.
It's the end theme for the first 12 or so episodes.
I even made a music video out of it. It's called "Thomas the Tank Engine Season 1 - Negai".
(Yeah; I like TTTE, too. Don't laugh. :) )

I've been watching anime for years now so I have a bunch of favorite theme songs. Some of my favorites are "Itoshii Hito e" which is the ending theme song for Seirei no Moribito, "The Real Folk Blues" which is the ending for Cowboy Bebop and "Sayonara Solitaire" which is the ending for Chrno Crusade. Just go to youtube and search for them if you want to hear them. If you're looking for a place to download them try gendou. They have a bunch of anime songs there. You just have to create and account there.

I really like Hyde, so I'll say either the second opening song from Blood+ by Hyde, or "lonely in gorgeous" from Paradise Kiss. :)

I'm afraid I've never heard much about it. What's it about?
Is the theme anything like UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie's "Please Please Please Kiss Wo Shiite"?

I dont know the name of it, but I love the opening song to Story of Saiunkoku. Its so pretty and the female singing it has a gorgeous voice. I also like Escaflowne's opening song, I actually have that as my ring tone.

As for me, I love one of the theme songs of Bleach, and the name of the song is Life Is Like a Boat. The melody is perfect, not so active but profound. The voice of the singer is very attractive and just make me indulge in that fantastic world. The lyrics of the song really hold the far-reaching meaning.
"No body knows who I really am. I never felt this empty before. And if I ever need someone to come along. Who's gonna comfort me, and keep me strong. We are all rowing the boat of fate. The waves keep on coming and we can't escape. But if we ever get lost on our way, the waves would guide you through another day." "Nobody knows who I really am. Maybe they just don't give a damn. But if I ever need someone to come along, I know you would follow me, and keep me strong."

My favorite is the second opening song of Rurounin Kenshin. It is entitled One Half. I love the beat of the song and the meaning of the lyrics. Samurai X anime has one of the finest collection of sound track.

This is a really good discussion and I know that television is really important when it comes to everyday life because it is a good way to pass the time when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing to do like on those extremely cold, and rainy days where you do not want to leave the house for anything, and I know that different people prefer different types of television shows and stuff,I am sure that some people like Anime shows, and have a theme song that they really like, and then I am sure that some people do not like Anime shows,or they do not have a theme song that they like the most because they do not watch television that much if they have busy work schedules,or they are busy doing things around the house, such as cooking or cleaning,or taking care of their children if they have any,and I am a big fan of television, even though me and my fiance do not watch it as much as we used to,and I do like a few Anime shows, even though my brother is into Anime more than I am,and I would say that my favorite Anime theme song would be the opening theme for the show ThunderCats which you can find on You Tube, even though I also like the opening theme song for the show Case Closed which you can also find on You Tube, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I am a huge, huge fan of the theme song for the anime Elfen Lied. It is a song called Lillium and is available in many different versions. The main one is by an opera singer and is quite beautiful. The song is also done with monks, children and even a music box. Most can be heard via youtube.
The lyrics to the song feature Christian themes. The director specifically requested this as the anime has to do with the constant underlying themes of redemption, peace, love and forgiveness that are at the heart of the anime. I like that the theme is an integral part of the anime and not just a theme song. Lillium does not appear, strangely enough, in the manga from which the anime is based.
