How old are you?

I seem to be 1580, but I'm getting older every minute.
I see mental is almost 3475, and TL is younger than me.
It is the age we are here. The longer we are here, the more we interact, the older and wiser we are.
Do we respect our elders? Here?
How old are you?

How do you figure out your age like that? I have NO idea how old I am, physically OR mentally! I agree with your statement--I feel older because of the amount of interaction I have--and I marvel at how much the internet has increased that interaction!
As for respecting my elders, I was raised to do so; however, the closer I get to being an elder, the more I realize that quite often they don't deserve my respect!

Almost 3475 and feeling every single bit of it!
I can't believe I'm that "old"! Didn't I just join here a month ago? It doesn't seem like it's been a year and a month and some part of my brain is refusing to accept the fact that 13 months have passed! I guess time really does fly when you're having fun!
It's the folks here who are over 10,000 who amaze me. Actually, it wasn't that long ago that I was amazed by people who had reached 3475! It sure does creep up on ya, eh?
Now, about that "older and wiser" remark, older? definitely, wiser? maybe, about the ins and outs of myLot. Actually, in all my years I've learned that the more we interact with others, the wiser we become. That is, unless we're totally egocentric and can't see beyond our own reflections!
People-watching has been a hobby of mine ever since I can remember and I've learned why most people act the way they do so, in that respect, I guess I am wiser.
I've learned that, if you want to get somebody to go away, just act as mentally off-balanced as you can. They'll leave... fast! LOL
Many years ago, when I lived in Baltimore City, I went to a job interview because I was working a part-time job and needed a full-time one. Coming out of the interview, I was approached by a sleezy-looking guy who said, "Give me your money." My response was something I'm sure he was not expecting. I burst out laughing! I said, "I don't have any money!" Still laughing, I walked to my car, got in and drove away, while that guy was just standing there with his jaw dropped, staring at me. Of course, I hadn't acted crazy on purpose, it really was my true reaction. I thought later that I could have been killed or at least harmed, but that was one time when I was very glad I was poor! LOL
You watch, you'll be an old fogie like me, up over 3000, before you know it. I see you're already older since posting this discussion... up to 1582. See how it creeps up on you?

Yes, People watching is very entertaining and a learning experience as well. Very good point.
I loves ya, mental. And I believe you are right on with that attitude, too. It pays to act 'mental' sometimes.

I am 1102 AGAIN
I wonder how old I would be if you add all my incarnations up
In just the one lifetime here I was over 11000
what is age here and how can you tell who is your elder
I may look like a young whippersnapper but I am not

You have earned our respect, zu, and deserve it.
I love your take on life and your philosophies, always have. I have admired you. I feel much the same as you do on most things, it seems.
Your opinion is always valued and important.
I wish our pleas were heard though, by the 'powers that be'.
And you will stay a 'whippersnapper' anyway, no matter what age you are. It is just you. I'm no different. I like being a whippersnapper sometimes, too.
We can't let oursleves get too old that we forget how to have fun and keep our passions alive yes?

I am feeling my age...I am 8916 years I would say from my post accounts. I do respect my elders and the younger generation also. We need both to survive and bring in fresh new ideas and thoughts otherwise we would be in a rut and stagnated.

I seem to be jittering around the 2900 area. It goes up, until some stuff gets deleted, & then it goes through that evil cycle.
How old am I really? If you're as old as I am, do you have cravings for a nice, fresh pterodactyl egg? It's been a long time since I've had one.

I'm currently 5900 and something and I have to admit, getting a bit nervous actually because soon I'll be 6000 and I hear that things become harder from that age onwards. Apparently the ideas start to dry up a little and there's a strong chance of "jaded" creeping in. I'm not so good with authority either I'm afraid, but I do try to respect the elders most of the time. You know, throw 'em some blended food and stuff to keep their strength up.

Now it's 12533.
So I have much respect for you since you are older than me. LOL
You have more experience, therefore my first reaction would be to give you more respect. But there are some users that have been here longer, that just don't deserve respect. It is an individual thing. Each of us is unique in our own way.
But I always start out giving the benefit of the doubt, unless they prove otherwise.

HUH? I thought that was a typo but I see you put an even higher number with TL so maybe not. Uhhhh are you talking about minutes? LMBO! I don't know anybody or heard of anybody living past 115 or so and definitely not in the thousands!! Unless you're talking biblical times.... LOL If that were the case then we'd all be ancient!!!! LMBO!! I'm 44 and will be 45 August 26. YOU count the minutes or what ever scale you're using. And YES I respect my elders.... for the most part....

Hey Annie! I lost count on how old I am! But, I'm pretty damn
old! I used to be on here alot in the beginning, but not so
much lately! So how old am I? I don't actually know! All I do
know is that I love my friends here and to me that's what counts
the most! It's about fun now for me! I need that in my life! Too
much stress in the "real" world around me so this is where I
like to be with the real people that I care about! It seems that
I care more about the people here than in my real life anyway!
Does that make sense? You guys are special to me so I don't give
a crap what anyone says!
