what is all the fuzz about a lomo camera these days? i noticed that a lot of people are buying it lately. can somebody explain what's it all about?

Lomography as it is called is all about snapshot photography (spontaneous photos). Take the picture and don't focus so much on technique.
These cameras use very saturated colors, exposures that are off, blurry photos, etc.
It has always sounded interesting to me so I may get one soon and test it out.
