From the moment I knew you came to life inside my womb until now that you are three I have been loving you unconditionally and will continue to love you until the rest of my life. You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. Without you it is a dull world for me. You became my strength to go on with life.
In return, I will be your strength as you grow older, I will protect you, I will be your shoulder to cry on, and most of all your best friend! I just hope and pray that God will give me a life long enough to see you finish your studies, have good friends, fulfill your dreams, fall in or out of love until you see the one for you, to see you marry and finally having kids of your own.
I am not the perfect mother, or I may not even be close to perfection as others might say, but God knows how much I try to be perfect in so many ways that I can.
I love you so much my little angel! You are my life..

Is there anything else you could possibly say? Is this for her birthday, graduation or engagement dinner? What??!! It was great reading. Thank you for sharing.

That is very sweet. I started a journal when my daughter was about 9. I haven't given it to her yet and she is 37. I keep finding more to say.

That's sweet, but i think u are being over protective of your daughter, if that's gonna be true ^_^ She needs to learn to be independent.. Because if u happen to leave her sooner than expected, what's gonna happen to her?? She has to learn everything once more, and that her perfect life is gone..
Some things do sound nice in words, but not in actual life.. For, i wont be doing that for my child in the future.. ABove are all just my own personal opinions ^_^

While she's young of course she needs protection but what I mean about her when she grows up I wanna be able to see her bloom and it doesn't mean I'm going to interfere here privacy. One of the things that I wanna teach her is to be independent.

So very moving and sweet. You must have been loved greatly by your mom that you have become such a wonderful mom too. You must give your daughter a copy of that letter, so that she will know how much you love and care for her. Sometimes, kids don't understand the love we have for them no matter how we try and make them feel that love.I wish you all the best and may your child grow to be a good person as you are. Good luck and best wishes, to you both!

That's really sweet of you, yuna15.
You have expressed your feelings with perfection, and just this fact makes you a perfect mother. My mother never wrote me a letter, but I know she loves me and it is all that matters. The fact that you are expressing your feelings to your daughter will make her feel special. Great job.
Regards,
AJ-Rox

I hope you keep that for her to read when she is older. I wrote one to my oldest son when I was still carrying him and it's in his baby book, he hasn't seen it yet.
I hope you will write more of these, one a year would be great. She'll treasure them when she's old enough to appreciate them, especially when she has children of her own.

I agree with you. I also keep the letters and illustrations, little drawings that my daughters make. You see, I have two daughters and they really amuse me, although I admit sometimes they drive me crazy. It happens that my eldest daughter is already 16 years old and the other is seven. see, how hard it is to keep them together and they are just my children. it really is so hard to make them agree with one another considering the generation gap. but Id' like to go back to the letters. Both are really fond of writing down messages, greeting or sweet nothings to me. these really amuse me. one message said, "make your eyes big before opening this letter." that came from my seven-year-old. hehehe. one time she posted a notice on our wall without referring to anybody in particular. the note goes like this, "No smoking today, said leila today." That notice amuses everybody in the house and nobody bothered to take it down. One day, her uncle, a smoker dropped by the house to pick up a hammer. When he read that note, he hurried outside, and said, "Uh, uh that notice is meant for me." we just had a laugh.

That is such a touching letter. I pray that your daughter appreciates it and that the bond between the both of you grow stronger as a result of it.

Hello my friend yuna15 Ji,
Your letter is well in order, but would add some "wishes" from parents/grand-parents in following manner :-
"PARENT’S WISH
1. On the day when you see us old, weak and weary……
Have patience and do try to understand us…….
2. If we get dirty when eating…and.. If we cannot dress on our own…
Please bear with us and remember the times we spent feeding you
and dressing you up.
3. If, when we speak to you, we repeat the same things over and over again…
do not interrupt us… listen to us.
When you were small, we had to read to you the same story a thousand and one
times until you went to sleep.
4. When we do not want to have a shower, neither shame us ,nor scold us…..
Remember when we had to chase you with your thousand, excuses to get you to
the shower?"
May god bless you and have great time.

How sweet. Are you going to put the letter in her baby book? She will realize how special you are as a mom when she grows older and reads the letter. We have 3 grown daughters and I share the same feelings with our kids now. My same feelings are shared with our grandkids also.

That is a really nice letter and I know that your daughter will know that she was loved. I hope that you write to your older daughter too. I have done that with my girls too. I think that it is important that they know that we love them even when we don't say it. I believe that kids expect us to have to say it,but it is different when they know that we have taken the time to write it down. Kids are a lot of work, but they are worth it. I have two girls -12 and 18- I would do anything to protect them and keep them safe.
