Yes, I always feel better when I can help people out. I suppose that is why I became a therapist. Obviously I earn money from my work, but it is how I earn a living. I also give a lot of advice on-line through sites like MyLot when I can, and if it helps somebody in their day-to-day life, then there is a strong degree of satisfaction in this. As you know, there is no fortune to be made on myLot, but the discussions themselves, and knowing that you have helped someone is enough reward in itself. - Derek

Hi Marianna! I can say with conviction that I love helping others, as best as can and as much as I can. I just want to share my knowledge and experience with others (read specially younger ones) to sort out their problems. I know that there is 'no substitute for experience', therefore, I can also help the younger generation in certain issues. Definitely, when I help someone, I feel good in my heart and it gives me a kind of positive feelings. The contentment of helping someone and see him/her smiling can be felt deep inside my heart and can be felt by me only. My boyfriend is this kind of person. He is the most giving, caring person I have ever met, and has devoted his life to helping and serving others. I really admire how selfless he is, and seeing how others are instantly drawn to and comfortable with him is truly amazing. We need more people like this in the world, they make every situation brighter.

Well,honestly,it depents.I often have my friends when they need,i know a friend indeed is a friend in need.we met lots ppl everyday and face lots of things,sometimes we'll need other's help or maybe other's need our help,why not help them,right?We help them at times,maybe the next time when we need help they can lift their finger.Helping other's is a happy thing

I always feel better when I can help with someone especially if they are my dear loving friends, but sometimes my help got wasted because some of my friend did not recognize it, they even did not say thank you even a simple thank you was not heard from there, so sometimes I feel weak to help. When there are times I can't help them I just send someone who can help them better. But most of the time I help them because they are calling me and sincerely asking my help but not all of them appreciate me being there.

I like helping other people but my help is only limited to what I can afford to help. I may be lacking on financial help but I can be a good friend,good neighbor, and a good Samaritan once in a while. If you do something good to other people, you feel happy and blessed.

Hello marianna45!!! Well I really like to help the people to the extent I can. It makes me feel so much satisfied. And this self satisfaction is the greatest satisfaction. Just today, I donated some money for the orphans, It was just a small help I could offer. And for that I really feel great and contented now. I hope though little my donation still counts there... Help really can be of various forms. There are also the case where I really want to help someone but be not able to help in anyway. At that time, I can just wish for the betterness of that person... So, keep helping others. This is the right way to live satisfied life than even the rich selfish people can't get... Happy mylotting...

i think that i am such an individual because i cant find any reason apart from not having it to help someone especially if thier in need. i try to assit people so much that not even the loan that i loan them they dont want to repay. you shpuld help people but they should not be aware of how you really want to help them as in my of my cases they just take it for granted and put less effort in trying.

Yes, I am that kind of person. I love helping anyone in whatever way I can. May it be just listening to someone who is feeling bad, helping an old lady carry her groceries, lending someone something the person badly needs, giving advice to anyone who needs it, suggesting things that might be of great importance and a lot more. In anyway, I will be willing to offer help. This makes me feel so good inside. Makes my heart smile. I think the only thing I can't do for others is to donate blood or my lungs or any body part. Scary.

I honestly say I am not, but I will try to help them as if I can do and according to the availability of my time. I have a room mate who used to help people whatever matter it is. I have seen from very close people taking advantage of her. Sometiems they put her in trouble also. She has even taken leave from work to help her friends. I don't help people after an extent only because they will think helping them is my responsibility and start taking advantage of me.

As one person I cannot change the whole world but as one person I can change the world of someone who needs my help. I will help those who comes to me and who are around me and seeking for help. Help others as you can find yourself in a good health, I feel very good when I help someone, and when that person is happy then you feel happier because you have been able to come to help someone and make him happy. In my opinion, i think i am the person who like to help other.I spent 10 years in learning how to get along well with another people.I suppose i have successed.I am just a student,i am happy to help my classmates when they need something.For example,if they without the money,i would have dinner with them,and the cost i paid.I haven't a rich fammily,but i don'd care about this.Friends are very important in the future,so what should i do that i do.
