Hi Mylotters!!!
This questions often comes to mind... I like listening to our local FM station often when I am way back home after the work... Some informations that they give are really helpful sometimes... For instance the information about traffic or weather report..I also like listening to music in radio, apart from it.
So,what about you all??? Do you prefer listening to a radio still??? Be free to share.
Happy Mylotting.

Every morning, I always make sure that I listen to an FM station specially those who are playing DANCE hits. Just to keep my energy high and have a good outlook in the day ahead of me.

Wow. I miss listening to the radio lately. Actually, every time I hear an FM station is played on air, I will always try to stop what I'm doing and listen to it for a while. I still remember the days when I was still a kid and AM drama stations are the "IN" thing then... But nowadays, internet and getting online is the IN thing. But still, listening to the radio is still fun for me.

i listen to the radio every now and then. they do sometimes get the newer songs. i mostly like cds because i dont like listening to the same thing as everyone else. i like the more underground and upcoming people. so i know most the songs before they even reach the radio. and the comercails can get so boring and take to much time now, but you know they have to be funded some how.

Yes I listen to radio always. My life will not be complete without a radio, I love music, its been a part of my everyday routine. I use my phone listening to music at work. Aside from traffic news, there is a entertainment news and trivia that the DJ shared with their listeners, and some game show which the prizes are either cash, gift checks or concert tickets. I love when the listener have the chance to greet their friends and family over the radio with special request of their favorite song.

I listen to radio every day. In fact, I have the radio on whenever I drive to my office and coming back home. I listen to songs and the daily news , good to keep updated every hour of things happening in the City, across the country, and around the world. Ofcourse , just to relax too after a long day's work !
Have a nice day !

I have a stereo in my car that accepts CDs or I can hook my iPod up to - so I don't usually listen to the radio, unless I'm sick of my own music. I don't usually use the traffic or weather reports - unless I know I'm going to need them (of course, when you need them to be on, they never are!). I absolutely hate radio commercials though. They have to be the most annoying thing in the WORLD, if you ask me, and so I try to limit how much radio I listen to.

Most of our commercials that are aired by our FM Stations here in Cebu are really funny but then some of them makes no sense at all. I mean, I think that even an elementary pupil could make better commercials in the radio. But then again, I always love the songs being played in there.

We have a station here in CEBU wherein every Sunday, there is this station that ALWAYS plays old Visayan (local dialect) songs. My uncle used to listen to this songs every Sunday and these are like my Alarm Clock cause whenever my uncle plays them, he usually plays it with the loudest volume possible. Sometimes its funny and sometimes it's just annoying.

Also, when I am going to work, most of our jeepneys here in Cebu usually plays songs inside the jeepney from any stations that the driver desires. That is also the reason why I like to sit beside the driver so that I can request for the station that I like to listen.

Yes,i still listen to radio.I always listen news and songs from radio. In this modern era many people consider radio as a dying media, but its not fully true. While it may be tempting at times to view radio as a dying medium unable to compete with television and the Internet, it is impossible to deny that the radio still retains some cultural significance. Innovation still promises an adaptation of radio to modern times. Whatever the future of radio as a significant medium, its effect on the world has been groundbreaking. With the invention of the radio, the experience available to the common man expanded to cover the whole world, and with it, his awareness. R while the content of radio may not be constant, the social change brought about by radio remains significant and irreversible.

I listen to the radio each time I get in the car. At home it's not quite as often. I will be sure to listen to the Elvis show on Sunday evenings on the radio at home. I really enjoy the music from the 1960's which is the time I was a teenager. Brings back some fun memories.

Because of the advent and popularity of Ipods, I know several friends who don't listen to the radio anymore. They just download songs on the Internet then put it into their Ipods. I myself own an Ipod. But I listen to the radio every day on the way to work and on the way home. In the mornings, I listen to the news on the radio. In the evenings, I listen to music. I personally prefer listening to the radio over an Ipod.

We still listen to the radio in my household. Mostly in the car. My BF drives out to Los Angeles for work maybe 4 times a week and we listen on the commute back and forth which is about 2 hours each way. I still hate the morning shows though and all the talking that they do. I dont miss that , when I used to drive to work in the morning s thats all I would hear, talk , talk and more talk. We usually leave mid-morning with him so by then all the talk is over and we can get to listening to the music. I especially love listening to stations that have 80 and 90's music. They bring back so many memories.
My girls also risk electrocution everyday by listening to the radio while they are showering. Our bathroom is tiny and it has no ventilation. I keep telling them its not okay to have aradio on in there since it gets wet but they will not listen. Can they not survive a 5 minute shower wothout music???

Its hard to say..probably they are addicted to music so much...I never prefer listening to music while showering,it may be dangerous, but instead I sing aloud Ask them to try it out....

Yes, I do listen to the radio. In fact,I prefer it to watching music videos on tv because of the skimpy outfits that most of the females wear there. It seems that the clothes (or lack thereof), makeup, etc. distract a person from the music. I have on a few occasions bought a CD because of something I saw on tv, only to be disappointed because what I liked were the costumes, etc., not the music. Then when I played the music without the video, I just wondered why I really bought that CD.
