The above is an email from Xbox live, I won a LOT of entries for playing the "1 VS 100 xbox live Canadian Open Beta", which i didn't expect to win at all, I just like the game really.
Any other Canadians out there won from the game as well? If so, what did you win?

Congratz... 3rd place isnt to bad and even if the prize sucks you stil have bragging rights. I'm not canadian but I figured I'd reply anyway.... and if they send you a game you already have, you can allways sell it to game stop or some place lke that.

Why does everybody think xbox live arcade games suck? Lol. There are a few gems in there!
And that is true, if I do have the game already, I'll take it straight to EB games....now that I've said that, it SHOULD be called GameStop, since that IS the Canadian name for EB Games....oh well.

EB games doesnt even exist by me anymore. They have all become 'GameStop'. There is even one inside the mall and one outside the mall (in the same area)!

you won an xbox live arcade game? sorry to burst your bubble, but those games suck...i think i would have like a free subscription over that. but congratulations on winning, what were the chances of winning anyways?

Excuse me, but not all xbox arcade games suck....the community ones do! lol.
And it's a 3rd prize, and I won, and the odds were against me. Whenever I played the beta, I was up against 50,000-75,000 people playing live, also getting entries for each correct answer they gave.
Also, there are seriously NO games you like from the arcade? Not even "Braid"? "Bejeweled"? "Hexic"?

Have you already claimed the prize? Isn't this one of the email scams roaming around? I don't mean to sound skeptic but that's why I am asking. Cause I have received several of this kind of email message but everything's a scam. Be careful. I'll congratulate you when you already received your package. Good luck.

They'll mail me the prize. They didn't ask me for additional info, such as my address and such, since they already have my account information, it's a contest I've been actively participating in, and all that they've asked me is a skill-based testing question, (math).
The sucky part is that I now have to wait to see what the sponsors pick out for my arcade game prize.

That is pretty exciting! I remember reading about the Canadian beta a little while back. I was so excited when I saw that the US beta is happening now!
I hope that I can win something, too. If not, it is still tons of fun to play!

Thanks! OH! And if you get into the "Mob", but get booted, I certainly hope you don't get as mad as I did lol. But hopefully thanks to the Canadian beta, they got rid of that issue.

I have only played once, and I didnt have any problems. It was in the middle of the week though, so that might make a difference. Hopefully I will be able to play again soon, and it wont be a problem!
I noticed a lot of other people saying that the arcade games suck. I agree with you completely, there are definitely some good ones in there. I cant tell you how many hours my husband and I played 'geometry wars evolved'!

I'm not too sure, I haven't received an update either on it. Guess I'll just be patient, and if I STILL don't have anything by the end of August, well then I'll be emailing the contact I have again lol.
I uber excited though, about a company recreating the monkey island series for the xbox!!!
