I completed my first $2.00 task !! Have you done one yet?

So last night at about 2:00 in the morning I submitted my first $2.00 task. I read a discussion yesterday where a girl said she had earned over $40.00 by doing those $2.00 tasks and I found one and in 45 minutes turned it in.
This morning I accepted another and hope to turn it in much faster. It took me a while to get it just right because it could not be an opinion piece, just hard facts.
But it was accepted and now my balance is $3.32, and I have only been on myLot for 3 days now !!
I am on my way. So my question is, do you ever take these $2.00 writing tasks and if you do how long does it usually take you to submit them back. Are they noramlly accepted and have you had any denied??

I was able to reach the payout last month because of the task. And as early as this week, i am already secured of a payout for July and again, it's all because of the task. I am actually aiming on at least one $2 task everyday. That roughly converts to $60 if I will be consistently doing it... And that is more than enough to pay for my internet and electricity consumption. The highest that i got in a day is $6 when i worked on 500 word write up and a 4 paragraph article.

I did the 500 words one, I'm still waiting on that one to be accepted. It took about an hour, but I think I'll get it accepted.

Wow, congrats. I'm a huge fan of those tasks, I wish I had tried them much earlier. I've been doing about 2 or 3 a day now, I've made a lot of money from them, and they're great for income. On average, they take me about 15-20 for each task to complete. The last set I did took several days to be accepted, but they've always been accepted. The only one I'm worried about is one that's from about 5 days ago, and still pending. Ah, well. I've made so much money off of these tasks.

Hi savetheunlikely!!
I keep wanting to add you as a friend and never get to it!! I have slow connection so it takes me a while to do anything here.
You do thoses tasks really really fast. Cant wait till I get that fast. Last night I sent in two more and then there was another in the tasks area but I could not accept it because I was SOOOOO tired, and today there are none.
So I am going to go and do some jobs at textbroker, have you ever worked with them before??

i never tried to submit a 2.00$ task before!!also because i think it takes you much time to prepare the task and in many cases it would be not acepted as i read from other member as well!!so Surely if it is as in your case it can be a good deal too but normally if you post good here you can reach it,2.00$,almost quickly without tasks too!!So for the moment i had not time enough to complete one may be in the past i will try it!!

Thank you for such a fast reply. I encourage you to at least give it a try. Yesterday I replied to about 20 discussions and only made $.37 so the task was so much faster. It might even have taken me an hour to complete but mostly because I was nervous and kept changing my words. I wasn't sure if I put that the item I was writting about was good, and high quality it might be taken as an opinion so I doubted myself. Finally I did put that in, made 4 paragraphs with 4 sentences each and , viola it was approved. I also wrote it on Word so it could spell check for me since I am terrible at spelling.
If I am right there are 3 more tasks same as the one I did still available so if any new people want to try I really want to encourage you to go for it. Even if you get denied you can just try again. Now I feel abit more confident and will keep an eye out for these tasks.
Have a good day tonyllenium!!!

I guess it takes a lot of effort to do these type of tasks which is probably why u get paid (if accepted) a relatively high amount. I plan to try doing tasks like these. Hopefully, my submissions will get approved. I think it's a good way to enhance my writing and research skills.

I would like to know whether the task provider approved your task. I learn from the other members that most of the tasks are rejected by the task providers. It seems they want highest quality jobs for lowest pay.lol.

It was a 4 paragraph article about watches. Each one had to be 4 sentences and I could not say it was good, or go buy one or anything like that. So I went on line and ran some searches for the brand and used 5 of the key words.
I just kept it simple , givng the details of the watches, about how high quality and durable and all that and managed to make at least 4 sentences even though it was a bit hard to do and not put anything that said I liked it.
It was a bit hard I will admit, and I can see where it's not for everyone. But I also did another task that was .20 and it was only to sign up and take a survey.
Well I really appreciate your reply, I wish lots of luck in your myLotting, take care :O)

Congratulations! That's really great. I haven't tried to do any yet but now that I read your post I will surely be visiting the task tab a bit more often and see if I can complete any of the requested items. Thanks for the information and good luck with your next task!

Youre so cool to reply to both of my posts, thank you!! I had a bummer of a day yesterday when I started 4 and only got 1 comment on each :O(
Today is a good day!!!
Oh hey, I also did a .20 task that was only to sign up to some site and take one survery, took about 8 minutes and it was really easy, so keep an eye out for those too.
Take care and have an awesome day!

Well I tried once but didn't work verymuch on that because that topic is completely new to me and I do not know ABC of it. But definetly would like to do in future if I am aware of the particualr topic. Do you have good referrals who joined in Mylot under you?

I have never done any task here. I guess I am just satisfied with posting and replying to discussions rather than accomplishing a task. I find time consuming. I enjoy more doing post and reading and responding to other post. But I think others are making well on this tasks. So its just a matter of comfort and which is more favorable. I have not much time to go online, so I just devote my online posting.

I used to make good money from the tasks before they decided to make it harder to accept them. They used to allow opinionated pieces. Now they just want facts. It's a little harder for me to find the time to do all that research so I haven't done any for awhile. My last several were denied. Very upsetting for me. I hope that I can get up the courage to do some more. And get enough time together to complete them!

I don't know. I am a member of some of one review site. I signed up for review stream but it was so confusing! I'm a member of viewpoints. I like that one because all my reviews are accepted, but the only problem is that I get points for the reviews that are added to my mypoints account. I can use my points for gift cards to cool places, but I don't actually get cash. Do you know of any better? I'm interested!

Opinion pieces would be great, have you joined that site that lets you review things. And its all opinion pieces?
Let me know if you havent and I will get you the link.

No, I dont know of any more but will be scouring the net looking. Maybe we can find something new. I have submitted 5 reviews to review stream and have yet to hear back from them, thats why I have not posted them on my blg.
I want to make sure they are on the up and up before I recommend them.
Let me know if you fund anything good and I will do the same.

Hi virtual! My second 2$ task just got approved last night! So happy with it cause I have 7$ in in earnings now..But my last task got rejected, they said it is because inaccurate factual information, which made me wonder since I write based on company history I found in the official website or do some googling to find the products. Good luck to you! Mylot is indeed very addictive!

Congrats, and good for you!!! I always look at the available tasks, but the subjects are things I don't know enough about to write about. I really want to do it...I'll keep checking and I'm sure I'll find one that I'll be able to do. It sure does bring up your total!!! Happy Tasking!!

Let me know how that goes, as I was telling another myLotter a sec ago, if you enjoy writting then you will love textbroker. They pay for articles that you do based on a rating you get when you submit a test article. I joined yesterday got a 3 rating and today did 2 jobs. One for $2.23 that was for a face cream and another 500 article on travel insurance that paid a whopping $5.39!!
You dont even have to be a master writter, the first rating is one and there are a ton of #1 jobs available.

This is what I fear for. I wouldn't want my effort to be wasted and so I try not to get excited about the task here on myLot. I think I am not that skilled enough to make reviews and the likes and my writing is also not good enough. It will pass in forums and other informal discussions like this but in writing reviews and other articles I just don't have a flair in it.

I did one of the $2 tasks the other day, it took about an hour due to researching the keywords and making sure I could write enough to make a decent sounding 4 paragraph article.
Mine was approved, but I see so many others complaining they get rejected. All you have to do is read and follow the guidelines the task creator wrote, make sure before you turn it in that all spelling and punctuation is correct, and if you did everything the way they wanted you should get approved and get the $2.
I plan to try as many of the $2 tasks I see when I have a free hour to do them.

Great!!
Make at least three sentences and you should see your profits go up faster, also dont forget to begin some discussions. I have found that making money discusssions get a lot more comments and the moreinterresting too.
Good luck and have a great day!

That is a lot of posts. In fact Sunday I staid on about 5 hours and did like 45 and then next day I had .83. So I think what is happening is that you are not making the responses long enough. Do what I do, make several sentences and if possible paragraphs. Even if you have to add in extra words.

Oh yes I love the tasks too, I did 3 of the Write 4 Paragraphs last month and they all got approved, it was a little time consuming because I chose a couple of topics that were tricky, hydraulic jacks was one and electric vs. hybrid was the other,,,so I had to do research on them,,,,but im quirky and I had a lot of fun writing them, and I got $6 from it ,...I have been busy lately with homework that I really don't have the energy to do that much work, but in the future when im not as busy i will definitely be trying the tasks again

Thansk for posting and happy looting!

Hi virtual! I did my first $2 task last week and luckily I got accepted. I will be very disappointed if not accepted, since I spent like an hour to write and do research. But yesterday my task is rejected by mylot, their reason is not showing strong English and plagiarize (which I did lol). I'm not surprised by it, since it's all done in a rush, I did it for like 10 minutes :) Never try the 500 words, too difficult for me to get an inspiration in only 8 hours.

I can relate to you. :)
I accepted and submitted 2 tasks for $2 each and both of them were accepted. I just noticed the second one got approved today. I am very happy as I really had the hard time finishing those tasks. Now I can't wait to submit my 3rd and my 4th one.
Indeed, these tasks are great to increase our earnings!

My kids are rgular little shiplifters. Twice now my 2 year old has walked out of a store with something. One time a ladies wallet from the mall!!! of all places and another a toy car from Target.
My grandaughter walked out , well came out of a Target with shoes we were gonna buy her on her feet. We never took them off and forgot about them and when we were putting her in her seat we saw them on her. They still had the string that ties them together on, can you believe it??
Another time my grandson was holding my hand as we walked through and indoor swapmeet, we looked around for about 20 minutes and when we got to the car he was holding a REALLY bid Superman figure in his hand. Didnt return it, didnt even know where he got it from.
Yes its bad I know. :(
BUt I think it happens a lot when you have kids. Know before leaving a store we pat search my 2 year old.

LOL
I opened the wrong tab..lol
So SORRYYYYY
I was actually going to tell you that I know what it feels like to work hard on those. The first one took me forever and I kept second guessing myself. It took like 45 minutes, my 4th one only took 20. I think once you get the hang of it it becomes easier. So keep at it and lots of luck!! Always.

It sounds like quite a tough task to begin with. Wouldn't it be easier to do review for reviewstream? Or Payperpost? Payout is higher too. I just did 2 for ReviewStream. One was accepted and One rejected. It only took me 10 minutes for each and I choose the topics. Payment quite fast too. Maybe you should try it.

ReviewStream pay you for your review. It can be anything. About your dog, your friend, your coffeshop, anything. I just joined them also. I saw my camera on my table, so I wrote about my camera. Then I look outside my window, I saw my car. I wrote another about my car. Then I submit. They say anything, so I simply write about what I see with my eyes, anything! Only about 5 minutes each They said 72 hours they will email about the outcome. I waited 5 days (today). 1 hour ago they email me they bought my review and paid money in my account. Yep! the money was in! Not bad, er? See my blog in 10 minutes, I will put in a new post for you to follow entitled Reviewstream
