Are you more concern about your image?

I could care less if I look like an unmade bed. *laughs* That annoys my wife. But not much. We are not into name brand clothes; I am a Tshirt and jeans type of person; the wife has no problem with shopping at thrift stores. And she has an allergy that prevents me from wearing colonge; not that I would wear it anyways. My confidence comes from what I can do, not my appearance.

It really comes down to how much you care about image and how much you care about your financial future. I think a lot of people have gone into the "red" trying to keep up with the Joneses. I personally prefer to be frugal. Also there is no point in spending money on things that are pricey when you can just get free sample products :)

I have never been one to go and buy name brands. I dont understand why people will buy a pair of jeans that cost lots of money when you can get the same thing for 20 bucks. The only difference is that there isnt a fancy label attached. Same as when I see people wear the hoodies with the fancy mall names on them when you can get the same thing minus the name for 10 bucks compared to 50 bucks. Im sorry they are clothes and cover you the same as mine do me is what I want to say. LOL! Yep I dont get it and Im glad I dont associate money and fancy clothing with my worth. Give me my cheap things and bills paid and a night out once in awhile to heck with keeping up with the people that think that cause they wear these things they are better or look better. =)

i dont care what others think of me to be honest. i tend to be antifashion and just wear what i want. i guess that is the creativeness in me. i also think it has a lot to do with self confidence. i am pretty self confident so i guess that is why what others think doesnt bother me.

I care for my image only to a cetain extent. I never allow it to dominate myself. I know myself very well, so i don't act for other just to maintain a image. I dress up my way whichever i like and dont ever feel of my image getting spoilt.

For me image is just one part of yourself.What is the use of having very neat image outside but a rotten heart inside.I will not be one of those who sacrifice for branded clothing just to show off.I am more concern about my stomach rather than clothing.I will eat more than I shop for clothing. I usually buy quality cloths but not branded quality expensive clothing.What is more important is always the heart, when you are sincere and nice inside you will automatically looks good from the outside after all.

I am a free falling kind of guy. I don't really care what the lot thinks about me, rather I care about where I am at in my life and I like it that way. I can make my changes and live my life without bothering about what people think of me. I used to be a scaredy cat but then I came to see the reality, that people just can't help you in your personal struggles,and so there's no point trying to please them. Ya I do show off some times, but then thats only when I get irritated by other show offs and when I really want to shut 'em up for good. I don't care about the money in my pocket cause I know that I can earn that whenever Iwant. Its just that I put all my effort and time in trying to find my real destiny and trying to excel in whatever I like. Take care

I think I concern about my appearance but not image, my image is just simple. I like to be presentable and wearing comfortable clothes. I don't spend a bunch of money to spend on brand name clothes and stuff, I would do the same thing - keep extra cash in the pocket for some other stuff.

We can get a good image only when we are good from inside but not just from style,I am a simple calm going girl who always give importance to help others.

Well, I am also concerned with my image and appearance but not overly so. I don't care about branded clothes or perfumes. For me, it is just important to have a clean, neat, and nice appearance. It depends on how one conducts oneself. Expensive clothes don't matter even one bit. I know some people who wear expensive clothes and bags but they still don't look that elegant. Some of my friends simply wear clothes they bought in bazaars yet they look so chic.

i think everyone care about image, all want to have a good image,but we should buy something if we have enough money ,i mena we can offer it

If you care so much how you will look on other people that is low self esteem, and if you rather buy things (that you cannot even afford)to make yourself look good that is part of your issues that sometimes we cannot recognize. There are people like if theyre lonely or sad they will go shopping believing theyre doing their self a favor (they make their self happy) by buying new clothes and charge it at the same time intheir cards, isnt that crazy? in order to feel good you have to put yourself to debt by charging it to your card that you cannot even pay even the interest. that is definitely self destructing. some they'll get new cars and they cannot even pay their rent or their electric bills or other bills. or they'll get new high tech phones and then they're on plans to think the phone is double the price if you will do pre paid phones. so they have these nice cars, high tech phones, nice clothes but empty stomach, empty wallets and empty refrigerators but with overdue bills. My philosophy is if i dont need it i wont buy it,if i cannot afford it i wont buy it. I dont use credit cards because i know how the company works on it. I wear inexpensive clothes too because i believe its how you wear it and not how much you paid for it.I always make sure i set aside something before can spend on something.

Why do I have to select if I could choose both money and good image?

its true, people tend to keep and spend much attention to how they look like in public rather than taking good care of their health.sometimes one has to skip meals to maintain figure and in worst scenario save the money intended for food to spend it in a parlor or beauty enhancement shops. but are we gonna blame them ? in the kind of society we have, competitiveness comes always with pleasing personality. beejay

I like to live frugally, I even stopped putting on my earrings, because I've been seeing so many men wearing them now that it sickens me. I gave them away. Something about it bugs me. Anyway, I like to shop at Goodwill, they have some pretty amazing clothing, in really good condition. I dislike the smell of cologne and perfume, it makes me sneeze, and gives me a headache. I wish more people would be happy with their own lot in life, and not feel that they have to keep up with the neighbors. Life is too short to waste trying to impress somebody.
