With my daily work schedules so busy just about every day, I have to keep a pocket diary always. I have to keep notes on a regular basis of appointments I have to meet. Otherwise I could just miss them, and thereby lose or delay important businesses. I do also ofcourse have to keep notes of important personal matters too, special dates and times I should not miss.
How about you ? Do you keep a pocket calender or pocket diary ?

I always keep a small notebook at hand. My days have been stressful this past few months so I tend to forget a lot of things. Keeping notes of things to be done and occassions has been a habit for me today. I am also keeping track of my expenses to be able to budget more wisely.I try to itemize everything in my note book to be able to track everything.

Hey greenline! Yes I do keep a pocket calendar for my appointments!
If I didn't I would never remember where I was supposed to go and
when! Unfortunately for me it is mostly doctors appointments! I
usually have about 8 a month or more! So I do need to keep them
straight! And if I happen to have some personal appointments too
I need to put them down too! I am very bad at remembering things
lately and if I don't write them down I will definitely forget them!
So I am totally lost without my pocket calendar!

Hello Opal. Yes, some dates and appointments are really important and just couldn't miss them. A pocket calender becomes very essential.
Nice to see you Opal. And, I wish you good health !

I use the organiser option on my mobile for any reminder or any appointments or for any notes.

I'm a homemaker, so I guess I do not need to have one. But I do use my cellphone's calendar and notes if I do have some important schedules.

I tried to do that for one year, but with a very busy lifestyle I found it was too time consuming. I stopped after that. It's nice though, to be able to look back and see what you did at what date and time. You learn a lot from that.

I maintain both a pocket calendar and a pocket diary. The diary is more like a notebook for me…I enter all phone nos., addresses, and other snippets of information which I come across. It’s a very old and dog-eared one…I recently got as a gift another beautiful notebook for the same purpose…but I just cant let go of the old one.
Pocket calendar is also a must…I keep it in my wallet to chk out on the remaining holidays of the year.

It's not a calendar or a diary but it is a small notebook, that i always have in my bag. It is where i write my important dates to remember, personal info. Like my ID number, my policy number and such important personal info that i need to remember from time to time. It is also where i write notes of things that i have to do at work or for my personal affairs.

I always keep a new pocket dairy, which contains the running year's calender in it.I don't carry a calender...I have to write new contacts in that diary or the telephone numbers of the clients... I use to write a dairy as a kid..But nowadays I don't have any time for that.

I don't work and I don't always have dates with friends or people so I only need a big calendar hanging up on the wall and mark down some important dates so I don't need a pocket calendar in my handbag to be with me all the time.

I have a monthly calender where I keep my appointments on... but then I use lists for all the things I have to do.. I even make a list to make the lists I need for the week! My lists are "to go", "to do at home", "calls to make" and things like that. Can't live without them!

I don't have a pocket calendar. I mostly rely on the calendar application either in my cellphone or on my computer so that I can make sure that I don't miss on any appointments. I find both of them very convenient.
However, I do have a small notebook and a pen in my bag always - I often find myself needing pen and paper to note down important information. Things that I know I'd probably lose if I put it on my phone because I rarely check non-memo notes.
Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

I used to have a pocket calendar or a pocket diary with me always but now that cellphones have a calendar feature I don't have to bring a pocket diary with me anymore. I keep my appointments and reminders in my cellphone and some notes too.
I still have pen and a notebook in my bag for other information that would be too long or too big to store in my cellphone. It is also much quicker to write down notes on a notebook than tap them in on my cellphone.

I keep a pocket diary with me all the times. However, it does not meant for me to jot down appointment, cause i usually jot doen my appointment in my hand phone. My pocket diary is meant more for me to jot down my daily spending, in order to track my cash flow.
