Computers are no more than a typewriter, but definetly loaded with loads of features, I hope all will agree with it. But as a person I use it no more than a typewriter. Its the speed which fascinates me while typing on computer and where ever you go wrong you can edit and make up the mistakes!

Computers are much more than glorified typewriters, Because they have the ability to solve logic problems, which Typewriters do not, they killed the typewriter in the office place for a reason :P TETRIS!! *is joking*

I agree. They are definitely much more that an amazing typewriter. They are capabile of displaying amazing amounts of information in all sorts of ways, and even process this information. If you actually knew what you were saying I'm sure you wouldn't have said it.

Well, if you are only using your computer for word documents and you have a printer with ink, then yes, it probably is being used like a glorified typewriter. I recall a time when my computer was used to play Diablo only, I didn't touch anything else for a year. So mine was a glorified Diablo video games player.
